I agree that Peterman showed some good lateral movement out of the pocket. I disagree that he never made some bad moves escaping pressure. On several plays he gave yardage running back from the pocket. He was lucky to be able to throw the ball. One of those plays could have easily been called intentional grounding or he could have taken a 12 yard sack. He is going to have to learn that you can never (unless QB is an insane athlete) escape pressure by giving ground further back in the pocket.

He looked good. Probably as good as one could expect from a fifth round rookie. My biggest concern was his inability to step up and to move laterally from the pocket. Our O Line was terrible the entire evening, but Peterman got chased back far too often. Regardless of the O Line, a QB can't consistently get chased back forcing him to wildly throw the ball away.

Peterman looked good. He showed some promise, yet he didn't do anything amazing. Yates looked terrible like a guy that needs to be let go.

Don't worry, if Yates starts we will lose as much as possible.

The Vikings are going to be awful this season imo. They have nothing that remotely intrigues me.

TT looked exactly like what he is, an average QB. Nothing more and nothing less. Many of us are just hoping to see some sort of miraculous improvement. He's an average QB who will never be a championship caliber player. Hopefully it can be good enough for at least a playoff appearance.

I don't think that Jesus could have ran through that mess. The O Line got blown up big time.

This O Line always seem to get blown up at the worst possible times.

The guy has been a troll since he's been here. At the same time it makes me afraid to criticize TT's play.

I'm glad TT is still out there. I'd like to see a scoring drive before he leaves he game.

Protection has been awful without a doubt, but an an NFL QB has to be capable of making quick reads. TT struggles with that greatly. He rarely throws a receiver open.
