  1. That's how you lose games. Only one guy needs to make a play, and we're off the field.
  2. That's when you need playmakers to make plays on D. Not sure that we have any.
  3. I agree, but this is really just their last gasp before they die off. This was inevitable as sports highlights are available on the internet. There is absolutely no market for a network that shows hours of sports highlights. They simply went for cheap thrills. They try to stir up controversy to keep their name out there.
  4. Same for me. I don't much about hockey. I only follow the Sabres in the playoffs. Obviously that hasn't happened in a while. I voted F for the Sabres. Whenever I actually do watch them, I find them more frustrating than the Bills. They seem like a Colts with Luck scenario. They have their guy with Eichel, but nothing else. Everyone and there brother makes the playoffs in hockey as well. They should be a playoff team by now. 8-8 in the NFL is more impressive than a hockey team who can't make the playoffs imo.
  5. Ultimately it will come down to winning. Bandwagon LA football fans won't care otherwise. A new stadium will be a short term draw, but that will dry up without a winning team on the field. In mega cities like LA and NY, how intrigued with shiney new stadiums can people really be? People simply care more about USC than pro football at this point. None of this "bad neighborhood" stuff has a thing to do with it. Does everyone forget how the Rams and Raiders time ended in LA? The Rams were playing in Anaheim at the time, you can't even use the bad neighborhood excuse for that debacle.
  6. Very rarely am I thankful for something the Bills have, but each time I read about Spiller I think how thankful I am that we have a great running back. CJ might be a decent dude, but another wasted draft pick. I can't think of one good reason to being him back. There is nothing he can contribute that you couldn't find anywhere. The thought of it is ridiculous.
  7. If anyone thinks that Jackson can play in the pros as a QB after this game, I don't trust your ability to assess talent.
  8. Correct, and what tourist wakes up before 1 on Sunday morning? If so, you didn't do Saturday in Vegas correctly.
  9. Same here. I enjoy the college game, much better than the NFL these days. The NFL comes across as lazy, boring and complacent compared to college. I just wish college ball wasn't so corrupt as well.
  10. Yes, you don't draft a QB in the first round and wait to play him until you build a complete team. You draft first round QB's to play.
  11. He'll be alright. Every QB not named Tom Brady gets hit.
  12. If a QB's confidence can be "shattered", they will never be a great one imo. Overcoming difficult is key to the position. All of the great QB's in recent memory played as rookies. Guys don't sit on the bench for extended periods of time these days.
  13. Lots of future greats have played on bad teams.
  14. Reminded me of a Vince Young TD run during the Jauron era.
  15. He was a moron for starting Savage. You don't draft first round QB's to sit on the bench.
  16. Watson needs to throw that ball into the stands. Very lucky there.
  17. Dalton is putrid. What has Joe Mixon done in this league? There is no reason to think that the Bengals have a good offense imo. I'm certain that she looks like a Walmart shopper without makeup.
  18. I agree, but these offenses are both putrid. This negates me the joy of feeling like I'm watching stellar defensive play. Everyone will shut these teams offenses down.
  19. Wasn't he the guy with all the charts? Marvin Lewis needs a chart that tells him not to punt there.
  20. Is it still a true defensive battle when you that the offenses both suck?
  21. I'm excited to see what Watson is all about. If it wasn't for that, I'm not sure if I'd make it through this game.
  22. I don't think that his arm can possibly be that weak. None of his throws have required a great deal of arm strength by NFL standards. IMO he just hasn't placed the right touch any of his passes tonight.
  23. They may be on target, but I refer to it being as inaccurate because it didn't reach its target. I can imagine both of those passes being accurate if he were outside of the pocket. I think they need to find ways to move him around for any hope of success.
  24. I'm with you. You wouldn't think a famous twenty something millionaire would need to stoop so low. Accuracy from the pocket is a huge concern for me.
