Not a TT guy, but this scheme is awful for him. Denison' s tenure could be short lived at this rate.

I've seen enough of TT, WR's, O Line, and Dennison to know that they suck. This offense is pathetic. I love the defense, but the offense is going to make it a long season.

This is the part of the deal that so many try to ignore. I've had conversations with fellow posters who have told me that there is no way the team had off the field concerns with Sammy. As if they really know that.

I'm sure every team feels similar. Too many instigators on all sides. I just want to watch football. In today's climate the first person to let things go is the bigger person. Whether you agree or not. The endless bickering is obnoxious.

I'd prefer he said something like "We wish Sammy the best, but we have a great group of guys. I have no doubt in our process, and I'm confident that the trade will pay dividends for both sides. We have a plan in place that I'm confident we will succeed with". We all hate canned answers, but sometimes they are the most appropriate. Personally, I think that McD's response did not come across as one of a confident leader. I didn't hate the Sammy trade at the time, but things like this make me question McD. Sometimes I worry that he's the next Josh McDaniels.

I agree, but I think there should be more "masters of the sport". These guys get paid millions, they should be masters. My high school coach could have put together the crap game plan that we saw from Denison on Sunday. Many great musicians can play multiple genres of music. They can do so because they understand music. Football coaches should understand football enough to be able to operate more than one system if necessary. John Fox was able to do so with Tim freaking Tebow in Denver. TT requires a specific style of play to succeed. Don't put him on the field if you are unwilling to change yours. I just came away very unimpressed with Dennison's joke of a game plan. More of that and he won't make it through the season.

I don't see coaches as COO's. I would give that title to the GM. Coaches should be more like managers. They should be willing to create systems that enable their workers (players) the ability to perform. That is what a good manager would do. I understand that these guys have "their system", but TT doesn't fit that system at all. Why force him to be something that he isn't? If he "doesn't fit" the system, it's time to play the guy they drafted.
