    Number one backs always need a rest, but you play guys who have can make a big play themselves. Tolbert runs are a waste of downs.

    Good post. This is a running team. It's the design or lack of for the running game that concerns me most. We might lack explosive recievers, but a running game should never be this bad with an elite back.

    Yeah, it's mind numbing and ridiculous. I'm sure Tolbert is a good well liked dude, but he's not a number two back. Any actual running back would be a better option. I just hope that it doesn't continue. And they're not even making him share those carries with DiMarco. We could have double the fullback fun.

    I'm really pleased with this great team victory. No need for being a downer, but the Tolbert business continues to mystify me. Tolbert is not a number two back, and he has been extremely overused. Tolbert has zero big play capability. I cannot comprehend wasting carries on him. We could find a more suitable number two back on the street.

    Yes but there were times when the run game wasn't working and TT was getting into a groove. At these time Dennison called Tolbert runs. We won, but the playcalling was just as atrocious as last week.

    I'll eat some crow regarding TT. Great win. I won't eat crow regarding Dennison. He's been awful, and we've won despite him.
