  1. Far too early to reach conclusions on Trubisky. I didn't care for any of the 2017 Draft QB's, I'll stay with that until I'm proven otherwise.
  2. How unnecessary was that split screen? Everytime you have an entertaining game, the refs step in to ruin it. I continue to watch, but I can't stand what this league has become.
  3. He's one of those guys who "has all the tools", but it's never translated to him being a good pro. Pro scouts, coaches, and commentators have biases based on this. These biases allow Bradford to be viewed in a manner that is not consistent with his career production.
  4. Nice play calling by the Vikes on this drive. Creative runs, and nice quick short passes. The offense is being ran at a good tempo as well.
  5. At least it's not very frequent that Bills need to worry about getting beer tossed at them in the end zone.
  6. Human beings are complex creatures. That's why you don't get hooked up with hookers when you have a lot to lose. Human beings can all be envious and spiteful creatures. None of us really know the back story. It's obviously not the classiest thing, but what would you expect? His life isn't necessarily "ruined", he'll just have to work a normal job, or maybe the Cowboys will hire him. Give it few years, he'll probably be back in the NFL. Difficult for me to have any sympathy for him, you don't deserve much when you're that stupid.
  7. If I were wealthy and successful, they are exactly the people I'd trust to hold secrets that could destroy my life.
  8. With the proliferation of the internet, we are at the point where guys with good careers might want to think twice before doing dumb s***.
  9. Prevous poster said he owed money. Makes sense to me, it's not like she can report it to the credit bureaus. Life is often about the company one keeps.
  10. There aren't really any practical solutions for the QB or WR position at the time, so I'd begin by adjusting what we can. The first step would be scrapping the zone blocking scheme. I understand that our lack of a pass game impacts the running game, but lets see if a change would help the run game. We all know it will never happen since zone blocking is Dennison's mo. I just think that it might be beneficial. Too bad that NFL coaches are not versatile.
  11. Thanks for posting the timeline, because all of the retweets are fun as well. They even include a few random non-football people like a freaking South Carolina high school basketball coach. Come on Sammy, at least only retweet people that have some credibility. Torry Holt retweets are bad enough, but it hits rock bottom when you retweet random people saying you deserve the ball.
  12. This was posted after the game vs the Seahawks. https://mobile.twitter.com/sammywatkins/status/917223121345589249
  13. Everyone relax. Sammy is busy complaing about lack of targets on his twitter account.
  14. He should retire tomorrow. This dude has had one foot out the door for a while. When you think about retirement, you are already done. Steelers aren't going anywhere fast, if he doesn't have a change of heart.
  15. Neither do I, that's why some of us use the term "McBeane". The 2017 Buffalo Bills have the duos vision imprinted all over them. I think coaching has been great, but personnel moves have been questionable. The issue is that I see McD as having an influence (or at least a say) on those personnel moves.
  16. I agree with that analysis, it's just difficult for me to believe that McDermott didn't sign off on some of the roster moves that stripped us of talent. I read the reports that McD had no idea about the Sammy trade, but it's hard to believe that it wasn't discussed. I could be wrong, you may know more inside info on this topic than someone such myself. I will never lump Beane and McD together for their entire career, but I can't comprehend the idea that Beane made all of these moves behind McD's back.
  17. There is definitely a separation between coaching and personnel. I certainly won't argue that point. It doesn't negate the fact that Beane and McDermott will likely succeed or fail together. They both came into this organization from Carolina at the same time. This gives the image of them being strongly linked. Therefore I have no problem with using the term. It is representative of the new regime, it's not an indicator that I don't understand the separation between coaching and personnel.
  18. Leaving wins on the field has been a trademark of the playoff drought. It's also the reason for the existence of said drought.
  19. I'd hope that they are at least high enough on him to view him as quality backup potential. If not, this doesn't speak very highly of their drafting ability. It seems abrupt for the team to already decide they aren't high on someone they just drafted. It would seem like a wasted pick imo. Then again, I do understand simply taking a chance with a fifth round pick.
  20. How much did McD's and Dennison's familiarity with Denver, Carolina, and Atlanta make us look better than we are?
  21. This is the fun part. When all the posters start bickering at each other over the internet. Fun times. Tough guy stuff at its finest.
  22. We are still ahead if TT throws that second quarter red zone pass to O'Leary, instead he opted to wave him on like a parking attendant.
  23. I get the feeling that it could be a long season from now on. That was a pathetic offense showing today.
  24. It's not "uneducated" to have little faith that this offense can score a TD. I hope I'm wrong.
