  1. Is this similar to the hit that ruined Trent Edwards career, and the 2008 season?
  2. It was huge, and much like last week, it was something that we havent seen from Bills teams in recent memory. Oakland managed to score relatively quickly, putting pressure on our offense to get something done. They did a great job of responding in that spot. As a side note, I thought it was idiotic that Oakland didnt attempt an onside with the kickoff at the fifty after a Bills penalty on their XP.
  3. The defense will be the difference if the team proves itself to be real. Everything else is moot imo. We had no defense in 2011.
  4. The Lions could be very good, but they can never get their s*** together. Id never bet on that team.
  5. We won our fifth game in Toronto which enacted the curse of Bon Jovi. Today we won our fifth game in Buffalo, where we belong.
  6. We also played some really good run Ds prior to Glenns return. Im not taking anything away from Glenn, but you cant expect to run much on the likes of the Broncos and Panthers.
  7. That thread doesnt count. Whenever politics are debated in 2017, everyone sounds like a moron.
  8. The Fish are one of the countless mediocre teams around the league. They are a half game behind us in the standings. I wouldnt overreact, these type of games happen.
  9. Neither, I hate the idea of picking both a RB and WR in the first round.
  10. Dareus obviously didn't fit in with the process, but a sixth round draft choice doesnt do much for me. Id rather just have held onto him, and hope that he could display an occasional burst of his true potential.
  11. I dont care what McNair says, and I dont care how the players respond. Is this an unreasonable take? Everyone wants a reason to be angry about something these days. Your life must be f***ing amazing if crap like this gets you fired up. Nothing to see, move along imo. The media plays us all like a harp.
  12. Maybe Boldin is a great guy, who isnt a liar. Didnt any of you geniuses consider the possibility that all of the worlds problems were solved since Boldins announcement?
  13. I enjoy how someone who is advocating people to be boring and proper titled their topic TD celebrations are over the tops.
  14. Im not doubting that many of us on this board were aware of Mack at UB, but Im betting that the majority of Buffalo fans barely knew the guy existed while he played at UB.
  15. Relocation. The location of this team means more to me than anything. Its not the players, its not the logo, and its not the winning tradition (or lack of) that drew me to this team. Its the fact that I have inherited the love of this team from family. The Buffalo Bills have the ability to make this community happy, this team means so much to Buffalo and its families. I root for this team because I root for the city Buffalo, I want to see a Lombardi Trophy come to this city. That is what its all about.
  16. This is what the Raiders do. They cant play defense, they simply rely on Carr to outscore the opponent. It worked well last season with the Raiders winning many close games. The problem is that playing from behind is not a reliable formula for winning.
  17. I agree, but Ive seen similar plays ruled incomplete. I thought that they would call it incomplete. There is no way that it should be incomplete, but Ive seen it called that. The problem is that none of us know what a catch is, the rules are just that poorly worded. I agree and it needs to be written into the rules, but the NFL didnt feel that way about a Calvin Johnson TD against the Bears a few years back. They justified their stupid call. Using the same logic, tonights pass should have been incomplete. The NFL simply makes up rules as they go. Im not advocating that the play should have been called incomplete. Just saying that Ive seen other clear catches called incomplete. If you dont make the reception, and throw the ball to the ref, the risk of being called incomplete is always present in this league.
  18. Yes, but officials have called incomplete on plays where possession was lost when the guy was on the ground. I can deal with a stupid rule, its the inconsistency that bothers me.
  19. Any reasonable person calls that a catch, but he didntt maintain possession all the way through the process. Haven't they basically said that they want possession until the guy gets up? These catch rules are ridiculous. None of us are right or wrong, because none of us know the rule, neither does the NFL or its officials.
  20. I agree that the Tampa game appears to be more winnable, but imo every game is dependent upon whether our offense shows up. That will be the deciding factor of the 2017 campaign success, or lack of.
