  1. I don’t think the comparison to Woods is too far off, but I do think there are some key differences betweeen the two. I’d prefer Woods to Matthews. Woods seems to have more playmaking ability than Matthews. I never get the feeling that Matthews is going to break a big play. Woods has always had big play potential, along with the occasional game where he’d put up big numbers. Matthews doesn’t have the ability to change a game, Woods was occasionally able to do so. Matthews could put up huge numbers as a slot receiver in a high powered offense. Aside from that scenario, he offers very little.
  2. You could sign any free agent off the street, they would likely give you similar production to Matthews. This fact makes Matthews expendable. Deonte Thompson had a bigger game than any Matthews has had this season. That tells me everything I need to know.
  3. I agree, Miami has done everything that you could ask them to do up to this point. Clemson suffered a bad loss at Syracuse. The Tigers should be asked to do more before working their way back into the top 4.
  4. Funny how a coach who has a history of classless acts and comments expects his players to act with respect. This is the dude who iced a kicker up 56-0, and said “Beating Pitt is like beating Akron”. Franklin did the right thing this time, it’s just a tad hypocritical to expect his team to show class when he doesn’t.
  5. I’m not sure if I understand what you are saying. Brees is better than Carr.
  6. I was one of those people, but let’s be honest. Regardless of all the hype, Carr is a far cry from being in Brees’ league.
  7. Fair enough. I did forget this fact about the Kubiak/Dennison offense. Its just another reason for me to hate the Dennison offense. Honestly, Im just not confident that TT would do well with audibles, although its unfair to say he wouldnt. Frequently the worst part of his game is the ability to trust his eyes as Romo stated last night. One of his biggest faults is his ability to dissect the defense. He brings a lot of other positive traits to the table, but sometimes they are offset by this deficiency. TT is the best we have, and bringing him back next season makes sense. That doesnt mean I wouldnt be in the market for a QB.
  8. The Bills have an illustrious history involving Harvard associated people making terrible decisions on the football field.
  9. I read an article that said hes not allowed to do so. Who knows if thats true, but it were the case its quite damning.
  10. Franchise QBs know how to audible to hot routes/runs on blitzes. There are too many small nuances to the game that TT fails at.
  11. I wonder if Jack ever missed a putt and walked away before the tap in?
  12. Youre in Jersey. Youve already made the choice to engage with the situation wannabes. In reality, it sucks that fans cant simply enjoy a game wherever it may be.
  13. Yes, and he may very well be correct, but he wouldnt have said anything had the Bills won. Otherwise I couldnt care less. It just sucks to have that type of Rex loser mentality lingering around.
  14. Yes, but a playoff team beats the Jets. A 5-3 record as opposed to 6-2 is huge with a daunting schedule coming up. These are they type of losses that separate contenders from the pretenders. Many posters have been on here talking crap about the Pats decline. They won their Thursday night game, and they won in the Meadowlands. They are the team to beat, we are still pretenders.
  15. I didnt know that whining is part of the process. Playoff teams still manage to win these games vs mediocre opponents.
  16. Somethings wrong with McCoy. Whats idiotic is not having a backup RB.
  17. O Leary as well please. He needs a lesson on not being lazy.
  18. If the process were real, Id bench O Leary next week. That was the most anti process, lazy, and dumb play I could think of.
