  1. I knew that some of you would find a way to blame the six TD’s on Rodak. He might be a Pats fan, but get real. Any beat writer is going to point that out.
  2. That game seemed like the worst QB peformance ever at the time. It’s hard to believe that TT had worse numbers yesterday.
  3. Yeah, but what were Trent’s stats from that game? Anderson was still the winning QB. That doesn’t say much for Trent on that day. If I remember correctly, Edwards was incredibly awful. I’ll have to look up the numbers. It likely ranks up there with TT’s performance yesterday.
  4. Great post. I had the opportunity to watch TT in person for the first time against the Raiders. I left the game very unimpressed, although the Bills dominated every phase of the game. It was enlightening to watch from a different perspective at the stadium. The Bills 2017 receiver group is without question one of the weaker groups in the league. TT must be graded fairly with that taken into consideration. While the receivers sometimes struggled during that game, I saw a QB who almost NEVER makes a quick read. This has been an issue throughout his career. O Line struggles have also contributed to making his indecisiveness even more constant this season. TT choose to bounce outside of the pocket nearly every play against the Raiders, after giving up on his first read. This is due to his inability to throw with anticipation, and fit the ball into tight windows. One play against the Raiders summed up TT’s style, the touchdown throw to Holmes on the sideline. It seemed to be a great throw and catch. Everyone was happy, and we were on our way to the playoffs. The truth is that TT missed a wide open Holmes crossing in the center of the end zone. He bailed out of the pocket, right when Holmes got open. TT scrambled making a great throw to Holmes for the TD. A difficult throw and catch that should have never been so challenging. This happens with TT on a regular basis. These are the type of plays that good defenses don’t allow TT to make. Keep him in the pocket, and the plays he makes never happen. Sometimes you need to play like a typical QB to be a winner. TT doesn’t have the ability to do so. His success depends on specific sets of circumstances that don’t present themselves frequently.
  5. I’d take a QB who “falls apart” outside of the pocket over one who falls apart if he (TT) remains in the pocket. The majority of championship QB’s have been guys who fall apart when forced outside of the pocket. Very few greats had the opposite trait of falling apart in the pocket such as TT. To be clear, I don’t expect Peterman to be our savior, but it’s becoming more evident that TT is done here. You never know what you have with a QB until he gets the chance to play. Peterman probably isn’t the answer, but we definitely know that TT isn’t.
  6. Don’t forget talent, which is something this team lacks.
  7. Some of the saddest memories of my childhood involve this team.
  8. Once it gets to that point many guys are happier than TT was today. The guy didn’t pass for many more yards than the percentage of marriages that fail.
  9. When this defense causes turnovers all is well. Otherwise, I hate this style of defense. This team lacks playmakers on defense. Hopefully McD can change that in the future. We need better players, but our style of defense does little to excite me. Nothing is ever done to dial up pressure on the QB in this scheme. In a division with Brady, that is very concerning. Pressure can make the greatest QB’s look average. Defense’s unable and unwilling to dial up pressure face an uphill battle against top QB’s. It’s a defense that simply asks too much of its DB’s.
  10. I’m not clamoring for Peterman to start, and I’m not a fanboy. I don’t think that he is the future of this franchise, but I’d never say that he isn’t. In reality, none of us know. Stranger things have happened in the history of sports. TT was terrible today, and Peterman’s performance doesn’t tell us much. However, let’s not fool ourselves. Taylor was being blown out playing against the same soft defense, he couldn’t do anything.
  11. The jury is still out on McD imo. I’m most concerned that his team quit today, especially the D. That’s not a good look.
  12. I’ve been ready to fire Dennison since week 2.
  13. The NFL will always be around. The real question would be, when the Bills win something, will anyone be watching? It will be like winning a Stanley Cup.
  14. This myth drives my crazy, but you are entitled to your opinion. The problem is a lack of identifying and keeping talent, and building a scheme that works. The coaches and GM’s have been to blame for the drought, not being mediocre. Lets just hope this regime figures it out. We don’t need to go 3-13 to do so.
  15. True, but any time a QB passes for less than 100 yards, he shares some blame.
  16. At least they weren’t at home, and could blame adverse conditions.
  17. Everyone’s balls should have zip on them after this performance.
  18. Very true, but Dennison shows no sings of having the ability to be a winner. He needs to go.
  19. I can’t believe we got run over by a Camaro, instead of blown away by the Breeze.
  20. Reminds me of the Pats Sunday night game back in the day. 56-10 if I recall.
  21. How big of a d bag is Payton for even trying to throw? Bills weren’t stopping any runs, why ruin a great in your face statement by throwing for the score?
