  1. This is what happens when we deem QB’s elite after one season.
  2. I am now watching to take in how poorly coached the Lions are.
  3. When did he make those claims? I worry more about our dumpster fire franchise than Tom Brady. At least Brady gives many posters a coping mechanism for dealing with being a Bills fan.
  4. All the HGH talk has made me need to play devils advocate for a moment. It’s likely that TB uses something special to maintain his health. If this is the case, why wouldn’t everyone else do the same? Does everyone else in the NFL have too many morals? Just making the point that the dude has had an incredible career regardless. HGH use is likely rampant in the NFL. Yet few QB’s make it to his age.
  5. Exactly. The media writes the narrative on who is a “good guy” vs “bad guy”. Image is not solely defined by ones actions. It is also defined by the picture painted by the media. Obviously it helps to maintain a squeaky clean image because it eliminates the media element. Everyone else becomes subject to the media’s judge and jury. This is the only reason that TO is being blackballed.
  6. I’m willing to blame Dennison as much as anyone. However, it’s difficult to have confidence in McD as well. How many head coaches would sign off on Tolbert being a featured part of the offense?
  7. The frightening part is the lack of young talent. Our premier young talent on defense is Lawson and Washington. Both of whom look to have the potential to be busts.
  8. It proves the old adage that “the game is won in the trenches”. Lets hope that the new regime can find the right guys to fill those positions.
  9. That’s a fine question. I don’t think think that it was very many. I’m just hesitant to say that he was worthless, because all the “I know football” guys will explain how he clogged the middle. Dareus did very well clogging the middle, but his playing time was limited this season. An arguement could easily be made that we shouldn’t have traded him. I’m willing to listen to that argument. I’m not willing to say that trading him away ruined the defense.
  10. We miss Dareus without question, but the absence of Dareus isn’t the only problem. If this is all due to the Dareus trade, Canton needs to start making a bust immediately.
  11. I think Kim is also an extremely smart businesswomen, and plays a huge role in the Pegula empire that is often discounted.
  12. He’s probably not an idiot, he’s just incredibly socially awkward, and knows nothing about owning sports teams.
  13. Moving too briskly certainly isn’t a trait that any party can be deemed guilty of in Washington these days.
  14. Yes, watching the Sabres leaves me feeling even more hopeless. Every team seems to make the hockey playoffs. I’m used to the Bills suffering, but it’s amazing how terrible the Sabres have been. It gives one little hope for the Bills.
  15. “Rapid liberals” are they fast? If so, sign them up.
  16. RIP. He’s one of those guys I remember from my youth, back when we could beat the Pats. Great receiver, and fun watch. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard the term “suspected motor vehicle accident”.
  17. The NFL does suck, but the last three weeks have demonstrated that we suck even more. It doesn’t get easier going into KC, and returning home to NE. The league sucking doesn’t help us much when we look historically awful, and have two tough opponents coming up.
  18. I disagree, they are drafted AND developed.
  19. Broncos lost to the Pats 41-16, we would lose 63-3 if we played them now.
  20. That’s a tough contest to win in today’s NFL. It all depends who’s under center, and if you’re not counting backups or IR players. If the Bills are starting Peterman it would be us.
  21. Watkins isn’t really “flourishing” with his 24 catches through ten games. I understand the view that this team shouldn’t have rid itself of all its talent. Letting Watkins, Woods,Dareus, and Darby were questionable moves, but this team needs help in many areas. We aren’t going anywhere until we build a team who can win in the trenches. Those extra draft picks need to be used to do so. It’s fair to be unhappy with the decisions to let some of our best talent walk, but at times people overestimate how valuable they were imo. We need more than just those guys remaining on the roster. Losing those guys doesn’t impact us as much in the present as it will in the future imo. We can only judge the true impact of those trades several years down the road. If we build an offensive line, find a QB, and we struggle due to lack of receivers or the like, those trades will look really bad. Currently there isn’t much those guys could do to help. This team is too much of a train wreck.
  22. I’m not all in on the current regime, but this team needs a franchise QB, and a legit offense line. This team was always further away than many of you want to believe. None of those teams are going to the playoffs solely because of those former Bills players. Sammy is really tearing it up in LA. LA has a QB, a great D coordinator, an O Line that can block, a great offensive coach, and a defense. We have none of those things. This team needs to be rebuilt from the bottom up. I’m not sure if Beane and McD are the ones to do it, but this team couldn’t win with Tom Brady. It’s more complicated than just letting those guys go. Lets all be real. This season was supposed to be a tank from the start. There are too many disappointed posters who were given false hope by the hot start.
  23. I suppose that I would have to answer yes. Watching the Bills lose used to be slightly depressing. I no longer have any response to it.
  24. We got crushed by the Jets as well. The Saints are really good, but they aren’t that good. Brees and the Saints historically struggle on the road. NFL teams aren’t supposed to lose home games that badly to anyone.
