  1. If “he” has time. I’m sure Mahomes mom would be busy on the day of his first win.
  2. I’m rarely as unafraid of an opposing QB as I am Alex Smith.
  3. Put him on the Wall of Fame. I’d do anything to have a guy with 24 catches.
  4. That’s a conundrum since a Chiefs loss helps our tank with a higher draft choice.
  5. Funny how many people thought that Smith had become elite early in the year. It proves that many times a QB is who is.
  6. I never thought I’d say that this game seems in reach. The Chiefs have been having trouble running recently, and Smith is a very average QB.
  7. Yes. There is nothing about this team that is good enough to win.
  8. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this unenthusiastic about a game, including the Rex era. I was an early believer in “the process”, but now I’ve lost hope in “the process”. This team hasn’t even looked like they belong in the NFL the past few weeks. The Benjamin trade really lost me as well. “The process” seemed to be the accumulation of draft choices. Making a mid season trade that gave up choices was confusing. Now we are left with an injured receiver who is of no use. It seems like Carolina may have pulled a quick one on McBeane. The regimes desire to pick up Carolina players was apparently too strong to resist. Men with a real plan stick to it. The McBeane plan is starting to feel chaotic, and not well thought out. Add coaches like Castillo and Dennison to the mix, and this team is going no where. McDermott has demonstrated far too much poor judgement.
  9. It’s strange consider I’m not a Tyrod guy, but am I the only person not remotely concerned about Tyrod? Defense will be the story of this game. I don’t see us winning with this defense. They’ve been historically bad over the past few weeks. They haven’t done anything to indicate they have the ability to hold anyone under 40 points.
  10. I couldn’t agree more. I’ve never been on board with taxpayer funded stadiums, but it’s a really bad time to ask for one. The NFL is clouded with uncertainty. The league reached its plateau, and is now headed downhill. This happens with every entity that has existed in the history of mankind. It’s absurb to spend millions on a potentially dying one.
  11. Personally I’m too concerned about the future of the league to worry about new stadiums.
  12. Ha. Never underestimate John O’Korn.
  13. The fact that you included Bradford as a “hit” made me ask myself a simple question. Is he the most overrated QB in the history of the game? If we draft a guy who has a Bradford like career, our playoff drought will not be over.
  14. This could make a lot of sense. It’s possible that Kelly feels more comfortable in the PAC 12 where he had his best success. I could see Kelly turning UCLA into a winner, while I could see him playing second fiddle to Saban in the SEC.
  15. Certainly not as bad as Peterman. He performed at a level equal to a fringe practice squad guy. Staying patient with a young QB is paramount to their success, but there is a line. Guys who have Peterman like debuts don’t stick around long. He looked like he’d be lucky to have a future in the NFL. People keep mentioning Jeff Tuel, he made Tuel look spectacular.
  16. I agree, that’s how the nucleus of our 90’s teams was built. Sadly we’ve had plenty of high draft choices throughout the 00’s as well. We have yet to use them wisely. There have been far too many Greg Bell type picks in recent years. I’m not sure I have confidence that Beane is the guy to break that trend. For all of our sake, I hope that he is.
