    If we didn’t have a playoff game this weekend I’d be willing to address this topic. At the moment, I have zero desire to worry about the Peterman game. QB is a position that needs to be evaluated during the off season. We have a playoff game to win on Sunday, who cares about Peterman’s one crappy game?

    This is going to be like Joe Gibbs’ return to the game. It won’t be awful, but I don’t expect anything special from Gruden. I think that he is overestimating Derek Carr. Carr has given Gruden the illusion that the Raiders are a Super Bowl ready team. I don’t think that Carr is half the player that Gruden thinks he is.

    Mayfield also gets a ton of time to throw. He takes advantage of it by spending considerable time in the pocket before making throws. I’m still convinced that the step up to the NFL will be a huge adjustment.

    So would I, but I’m beginning to think that an SEC defense would struggle against a Big 12 schedule. SEC teams play against too many conservative offenses who lack creativity.

    Regardless of the outcome, so much for the vaunted SEC defenses they like to brag about. We’ve seen Bama get schooled by Clemson, and now Georgia is getting schooled by OU. Yes, I know I wear my Big Ten homer status on my sleeve.

    Lost in all the Mayfield publicity, the fact that Fromm is going to be a hot NFL prospect when he’s eligible for the draft. Exactly why I can’t stand Big 12 football. It resembles basketball more than football.

    It would have been nice for Bama to win the SEC title. We would have avoided having two SEC teams in the playoff. Nevermind, looks like Georgia might keep it close. I forget what Big 12 defense is all about.

    Yeah, I’m not sure how we made Dalton look good though. I’m not dissing Green, it’s just hard to get much from him with Dalton as QB. We really choked on the Bengals game.

    I didn’t see the Ravens losing, hopefully this keeps up. I have no hope for the Jags, or anything that involves the Raiders winning.
