I wanted to see a throw there as well. They’ve gotten this far by being ultra aggressive. I don’t like leaving the game up to the kicker.

Yes, but it’s a coach actually understanding the flow of the game. Unfortunately very few NFL coaches have a good feel for the game. It was gutsy, but not all that crazy when you know that your D can’t stop Brady. With that said, most every coach would have punted away the Super Bowl in that spot.

I love how aggressive Peterson coaches. The league needs far more of this.

I simply don’t care for his music, but it’s just a matter of personal preference. I won’t criticize him for lip syncing though. I thought I read somewhere that lip syncing is the norm at most Super Bowl halftime shows.

He knew that because he was busy looking around for defenders. That’s probably why he wasn’t focused on the ball enough to catch it. Brady doesn’t want to get knocked out of the freaking Super Bowl.

I just have no use for cute trickery when you have the greatest QB of all time. Let him sit in the pocket and do what he does best. It’s early in the game. It’s not as if the Eagles had shown they can shutdown the Pats offense. I’d have a different view if the Pats were down big, and the offense was being shut down.

Catching the ball in the open field is much different than a shotgun snap. Brady was probably afraid of taking a hit.

Brady is the GOAT at QB, not WR. He can be downright unstoppable as a passer. I’ll take my chances on him passing on third and long over seeing if he can catch the football.
