Nick Foles benched in St Louis
DriveFor1Outta5 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bradford/Foles QB swap was the worst scenario for Foles. The guy just seemed like he belonged in Kelly's offensive. Unfortunately Kelly was too stubborn to see that, and traded for a guy in Bradford that has made a career out of having "potential". -
Colin Cowherd just killed Rex Ryan........

People are too sensitive these days, and many times people's sensitve anger is misplaced. However, there's no way to spin this as not being an insult to a group of people. I'll give an example. If I were to say "posting on this forum is easy, and requires no knowledge. No one with an education would every post here" I'd be saying that with the intent to insult everyone on this board. Cowturd wanted to insult Dominicans. He's right, the education system in the Dominican Republic is terrible. However, he states that baseball must be simple if Dominicans can play it. He is directly making the statement that education=intelligence. Something that is often falsely believed to always be true these days. Im not one of those sensitive politically correct people. I guess it just amazes me anyone would defend Cowturd on a Bills forum. He thinks the same of us Bills fans as he does Domincans. He has constantly stated that small market teams need to relocate, and that only ignorant and lazy people live in the smaller markets. -
Defense is still average

I could get into defensive scheme details all day, but I'm just get going to cut to the chase. All I can say is that I wish we had last years D with Tyrod at QB. It's a typical Bills style disappointment. -

The only thing we have going for us is the fact that Talleywacker always seems to have terrible games here. -

True. Well coached and this team seem like two words that don't ever belong in the same sentence. -

Two poor runs and you end up in third in long. Reminds me of the Hackett days. -

The Bills will win today, and it will be convincingly
DriveFor1Outta5 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The starters might be back but it will be interesting to see how close they are to being one hundred percent. Tyrod was seen wearing a knee brace, and reports indicate that the amount of playing time for Sammy plays may be limited. If these guys are severly limited by their injuries it could be a huge issue. I want to see these guys play first before proclaiming this team healthy. -

Just goes to show how good all this "security" that we go through these days really is. -
How Doug Marrone became "The Man who Left Buffalo"
DriveFor1Outta5 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, we read the same article. We just interpreted it differently. One hundred different people could see the same exact thing, yet see it one hundred different ways. Marrone just seems highly egotisical, and hung up on his Bronx tough guy act if you ask me. Not even giving the slightest hints at why he left gives me the impression that he thinks he needs to keep eveything close to the vest. Like some kind of cunning genius that's eventually going to outsmart everyone. Sorry, the guy just gives me a bad impression. With that being said, who really cares about St.Doug anymore anyway? -

I actually didn't have as much distain for Marrone as many of you here. However, after reading that bit something about it made me dislike like him a little more. He comes across as a complete phoney. He should admit that he thought he was going to get another head coaching job this past offseason. He also acts like the Jags Oline coach position is yet another "dream job" once again. The thing that irritates me the most as others here have mentioned is his refusal to say why he left. It makes me doubt that he really had good reasons. I'm the first to question how this organization is run, but why doesn't he just say what happened? It makes me feel like he simply wanted to collect his check, and get the Jets job. Seems like he's full of crap to me. -
That sums it up best. You have to know that if you post anything remotely controversial you're going to find yourself in hot water. So if you can't handle the online tough guy comments simply avoid having social media. Be as active as you want on social media as an athlete, but if you're too thinned skinned stay off it.

At least this years Bills are good for quotes and soundbites. When I first looked at that quote I thought it was Nietzsche or Descartes. Sounds like the work of a great philosopher.

I don't have a problem with his sentiment that fans shouldn't get on a guy for being injured. I do have a problem with the attitude it shows. There is nothing wrong with demeaning people who attack you. However, you can't make blanking statements like "people with little jobs" those are the people that patronize the NFL and give him a job. I would like the cockiness a lot more if he was a superstar wideout. Owens and Moss were big enough stars to be cocky. Watkins seemed so grounded when he was drafted. Suddently his ego seems to have erupted, and having an ego that's bigger than one's production can be a dangerous mix. He has yet to achieve greatness, I'd hate for his mind to tell himself he already has. Then again that's why I'm starting to really dislike the Ryan era. This team is very unlikable. I would love the team if they'd win, but if you think about the individual characters on this team without the wins they are hard to like.

It's hard for me to like this guy as he reminds me of a shady used car salesman. Marketing and football personal decisions are two worlds that can be at odds with each other. Many times the moves that build winning franchises don't excite the fans. On the other hand flashy moves for skill position players always ignite the fan base. We've had plenty of those sort of moves since Brandon has been in town. I often worry that he has a lot to do with it. I'm fine with Brandon being around solely for marketing. However, my concern is that he still has too much input on personal. If this is true as many of you have stated, I'm very concerned. In this case he definitely needs to be held accountable.

It's Cassel Time in Dallas
DriveFor1Outta5 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
233 rushing years, and a loss. That means the QB sucked epically. We can't run for one yard. I'm not a Manuel fan, just saying if you think Cassel is better you're so wrong. -

This post is entertaining. The Cassel people disappear when he throws picks, and then reappear after he makes a couple good throws. -

You got me there, very true. Was just thinking along the lines that if we were playing the Giants in NY it would be a blowout with our D this year, and a QB throwing three picks. We were playing the Jags, and Bortles beat the vaunted D with a long TD pass. -

However, they are still in the game because their defense doesn't suck like ours. -

I thought he was that veteran who makes good decisions and keeps you in games.I always hear we need a guy like that on this forum. The truth is those kind of guys don't exist. Guys that aren't the elite QBs make tons of mistakes. The veteran "game manager" that doesn't turn the ball over is the worst myth out there. These guys wouldn't be backups if that were the truth. -

Fire Whaley for the lack W's. It's as simple as that. Point to the Watkins trade, or taking EJ in the first round if you want as well. Don't ever point to trading Cassel.
