  1. Fair arguments, but overgrown receivers who can't block are what the tight end position has become. It's all about the number of receptions these days. To use that as an argument against Reed isn't fair.
  2. Manziel was there too. All those Ohio people watching the draft missed out on the real fun.
  3. Combine Ohio State with the fact that the draft is the only time anything Browns related is remotely watchable. A few short years ago during the draft they thought Manziel was a good thing.
  4. Fair enough. I hope he turns into a star this year. I want this team to win. I just believe that there is no chance he'll do anything this season. I expect him to either get cut this summer, or get injuried early in the season. There is no reason to expect anything else imo.
  5. Fitz is a 30 something QB. Typically teams only start 30 something QBs who are all pros, and champions. The type of guys that give you a chance to win it all. Fitz has proven time and time again that he fails in big spots. The final game against us helped prove that point. At this point on his career he is nothing more or less than a backup. Teams would rather fail to make the playoffs with a young QB who at least can provide the illusion that they may become a franchise QB. You don't give into to contract demands to simply trend water. You try to build a championship franchise.
  6. Goodwin and Antonio Brown of the Steelers are the same exact height and weight. Brown has played through entire seasons, and has been considered an elite WR. Goodwin is just injury prone. It really doesn't matter if he's a good receiver or not. If you're not on the field, you are of no use. If you're a good employee yet never show up to work will you keep your job? I doubt it. The guy is a track athlete turned WR. Other small wideouts like Brown or Edelman are football players. Time for the Goodwin fans to give up. I strangely see a few popping up on this post.
  7. It feels like we tore apart the defense just to rebuild it. It makes me dislike Rex more than I did before. Wade Phillips seemed to do fine with the talent he was given to work with in Denver. I didn't see him have to tear it apart to rebuild it in his likeness. There's a quality defense coach. Rex is a snake oil salesman.
  8. Exactly. I've been crying about needing a number two, but you said it far better. We need another threat at the WR position. No one is afraid of Bob Woods. We only have one playmaker at that position.
  9. He is? What did he do last year? He seems to have had his best numbers as a #3 slot receiver. Our offense looked a lot more explosive when Harvin was healthy for a short time.
  10. If they're confident in Woods and Hankerson as number two's they will be proven wrong. Neither fit that role.
  11. We really needed a offense in that spot, but this is what you get with Rex. Who needs offense? The genius Rex has it all under control.
  12. Knew it was an OSU guy with Meyer sitting there. I was hoping it would be Miller though. This is the Rex show now for sure.
  13. Fair enough. My issue is that we already had pre existent defensive talent that Rex was unable to ultilize. Now he has to draft players who fit his mold while we should have been set on defense. We still have holes in the O line, and nothing close to a viable number two wideout. If Sammy goes down for any amount of time we're really screwed as well.
  14. I like Ragland and it was the correct pick, but I really worry that with Rex we are going to abandon the offensive side of the ball much like his Jets teams. Hopefully we try to get find a legitimate number two wideout with one of our picks.
  15. I understand the whole Walter Payton award Bears association, but why are they parading Anquan Boldin out before even announcing the pick? I thought they were going to announce the pick instead of Goodell
  16. Why would any man want to wear a crop top? That's the real question. Just doesn't seem like something I'd want to wear on the field imo.
  17. I don't think anyone would be complaining if we were a winning franchise. As Bills fans every small thing that causes us to question our players dedication bothers us. Although it may be an overreaction, I wouldn't expect anything else.
  18. USC should get their way. I thought the fact that people cared more about USC than the NFL was why the NFL was able to leave LA the first time around. Can't wait to see how it goes this time.
  19. I think he liked football when it was easy for him, and he dominated in college and high school. It got him exactly what he wants, fame. Now that he has fame and a bunch of celebrity friends I get the impression that he couldn't care less about as well. Just my thoughts.
  20. I'd be fine with Sackenburg in the Fourth, but no way am I using a second on that guy. The lack of pocket awareness is something that is very frightening to me.
