  1. Doesn't mean the ratings aren't down. In fact I changed the channel at halftime. I never used to flip the channel on NFL games, but I'm just not finding these games very entertaining anymore.
  2. The Nuge. Bengals had the Bills in a stranglehold if it weren't for him.
  3. Well Deion is a Hall of Famer, so you really disprove your own theory. If someone who isn't tough can be a Hall of Famer then plenty of other players who aren't tough have played. That Rob Johnson was a real tough guy.
  4. They are for sure, plus it's probably time for the refs to help out a struggling golden boy QB. We'd never get that call.
  5. And Dez Bryant didn't catch the ball in GB a couple years ago? This league is ridiculous. All we ever hear anouncers say is that the receiver must maintain possession through the entire play, basically until they give the ball to the ref. Now they try to sell us that crap, and Tirico and Collinsworth barely question it. Give me a break.
  6. Ok so what is possession again? This is why people aren't watching.
  7. I wouldn't include Wade in that group because Ralph had a personal vendetta against him. The rest of those guys just sucked and so does Rex.
  8. Seems like he has problems in his personal life that is affecting is play on the field. There's been plenty written on it. That being said, he does seem like a jerk.
  9. Fair enough, I just wish that people would address the issue by saying that becoming over populated could harm our country. The most populated counties in the world often can't support their population. That's what should be a concern, and that's how I wish people would address it. Instead people choose to trash talk Mexicans, and tells us how their ancestors were better. Trust me when I say that the Anglo New Englander's weren't very pleased with the onslaught of Irish and mainland Europe immigration to our country.
  10. Laws were different when the Poles, Italians, Germans, Irish etc came to America. Comparing modern day immigrants to "our" ancestors is like comparing apples to oranges. The whole process is so different that there is no comparison. If one is opposed to illegal immigration, I have no problem with that. That being said it's not as simple as saying that our ancestors were "legal". It's a different world now:
  11. I'd be willing to bet a lot that he won't do any of that stuff against the Pats*
  12. Not to get political but this is last point in American history where I'm ready to say that the soft Euro game of soccer is ready to take over a true American game. The SEC and college football is alive and well. If you watched the MNF game you saw the problem. The crooked officials and league have made the game unwatchable. The officials from Monday's game get a strike on their report card, no fine or anything more. The league wants to alter the game to favor teams like the Seahawks and Pats. That's why people aren't watching. No one wants to see Cam Newton get beaten all game while you can't breathe on Brady. The blatant favoritism and poor officiating needs to stop. If you don't have a favorite team or play fantasy football there is nothing to watch. Soccer is not the problem. Pro football is it's own worst enemy. As Americans we do want to be part of sport globalization. We want our own American sports. Soccer is huge on the coasts, but everyone in between wants football. As far as injuries are concerned I believe that people want to be entertained. I don't believe for one second that we've become such a empathetic society so concerned about the health of players that we won't watch the game anymore. These guys are compensated nicely for what they do. We'd probably see less injuries anyway if the NFL took PED testing seriously. All the blame falls on the NFL. Not soccer, or player health concerns.
  13. You say all they want to do is hike, walk, run, and swim, I guess a $2 increase in ciagarettes makes total sense in that case. Joking aside I think San Diego will be fine without a team. I feel incredibly sorry for any city that loses a team, but they will be fine. Great weather coupled with general disinterest is not a good mix. That's why I don't understand potentially putting another team in LA. Although LA is much larger they are similar to San Diego as far as interest in pro football goes.
  14. Well I didn't see anyone get in his face immediately after the play. It would have been a better fifteen yard foul than most of Jerry Hughes'. I don't care what Incognito does in the locker room. That doesn't prove to the opposition that this team won't be pushed around. Plus who knows what Rex and Sherman were jawing about. No one cares if Rex gets in their face, we needed our guys to immediately get in Shermans face.
  15. Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that on this team of "bullies" the strongest reaction to Sherman being an idiot came from the kickers wife?
  16. She deserves it for apologizing. That's what's wrong with society today. Don't say it if you don't mean it.
  17. Sherman is an idiot who plays with no class. Player's wives who go at other players on twitter look like classless idiots. End of story.
  18. That's my biggest issue with Rex. I want continuity as much as anyone, but Rex's defense has been a failure. He was hired to coach a dominant defense with a ball control offense. If it isn't happening the very reason for Rex's existence is moot.
  19. Agreed. They should have taken Sherman to the woodshed. This team is built in the image of Rex, all talk nothing more.
  20. I thought we were bullies? Why doesn't anyone get in Sherman's face then?
  21. Agreed. He'd do great in business, he should open a pastry shop that sells all types of different flavored turnovers. Fitzy's Turnovers. As far as Petty is concerned, if Fitz can play I doubt we'll see Petty. He was a one read college QB who needs a lot of time before any team would put him on the field willingly.
  22. Football is about winning, you're going to hear a dead horse get beat during a 16 year playoff drought, like or not. Avoiding the topic is like living in fairly tale land. I don't want constant negativity either, but I don't want the opposite. There is nothing wrong with finding a position somewhere in between. I for one am not "miserable" all the time over a sport, but when we talk about the Bills we have every right to criticize the incompetence. I can find the "optimism" in plenty areas of life, but that's separate from how I and many others feel about this poorly run organization. I loved the big victories and the 4-2, but when reality strikes again there's nothing wrong with addressing it.
  23. It's my subconscious wishing we still had a real play by play man here.
