  1. Joshy boy of 2 TD:5 INT fame. Oh goodness, Watson may not even get a second contract. EJ outplayed Cam Newton once upon a time. Cam's career ended right then and there, and EJ went on to win an MVP award in 2015.
  2. Neither do the Texans. Think they'll trade us Watson and a first for Allen?
  3. Oh boy. I do declare the rumors of Watson's demise were greatly exaggerated. Here's what our beautiful boy out of Clemson is doing through 8 games: 5-3 as a starter, 3 game-winning drives 2389 passing yards, 10th in the NFL 17 passing TD's (tied for 8th with Tom Brady) 7 INT's (tied with Brady and Mahomes) Passer rating 100.8 (tied for 10th with Cam) All while being the second most sacked QB in the NFL. If Mahomes wasn't breaking records, Watson would be the talk of the second year QB town. Imagine passing on two franchise QB's in one draft. Couldn't be me.
  4. He didn't walk away from football because of the stroke.
  5. Yeah, like I said, TIA, coached football the next year, and the year after, and the year after that.
  6. He had a TIA and coached for 3-4 years after it happened.
  7. Has nothing to do with entitlement. Has everything to do with the cash.
  8. Fact: the last good WR to sign as a FA in Buffalo was the corpse of TO.
  9. Yeah, why don’t we just trade Lorax and Kyle for first rounders
  10. YOU JUST ASKED ME HOW MANY TEAMS BENCHED THEIR STARTER FOR A ROOKIE AFTER A HALF, THEN YOU ASK HOW IS YOUR IRRELEVANT QUESTION IS RELEVANT
  11. The Texans did it last year with Watson and Savage.
  12. Trading Taylor saved cap space, netted a 3rd round pick and eliminated the potential locker room divide with a new QB. McCarron was flat out beat by Peterman at camp and “not what McD was expecting.” Do you know how the cap works? The dead cap we got from trading McCarron and Taylor would have been regular cap hits if they were on the the team. If TT has a cap hit of 16M, and a dead cap hit of 10M if we trade him, we are SAVING 6M. You don’t get to spend Taylor’s cap hit on other people. Agree and I would have added a guy earlier as well. Doesn’t make much of a difference if you aren’t trying to win football games. How many teams in the league are good with injuries to two of their QB’s? Honestly.
  13. I would argue that while we shouldn't feel bad at all, humans are tribal by nature. We will always form bonds of kinship with folks who have commonality with us. Humiliation may be the wrong word, but I can imagine the distaste.
  14. I think Wawrow is saying the press isn't giving the Bills the chance to defend their decision making process by refusing to actually ask them the question. It's not so much a commentary on the story, but the press' reaction.
  15. Seeing as the group that offseason was Watkins/Boldin/Brown, your comment doesn't make much sense.
