  1. No one ever won a Superbowl with an All-JAG lineup.
  2. I just liked watching old college stars out there. I was hopeful for the AAF, but they are appealing to such a small subset of fans. How many casual fans truly are going to tune in to see Jamarcus Russell and Johnny Manziel out there playing? Or even lesser known guys like Mettenberger? I threw a couple games on in the background this year. But no one is going to a bar with friends to watch those guys for 2 hours. Too many folks confuse "that'd be neat, I guess" with "there's definitely an untapped market here!"
  3. But not all first round picks are equal. #1 and #32 are much different. There's guys you'd run to the podium if they were available at #32 that you wouldn't even consider at #1. That's just the nature of the draft and scouting process.
  4. Interesting. I think prospect-wise, Rosen would have be the #1 QB in this class. But with the last year playing out like it did, what do you give his chances to be successful compared to a Haskins?
  5. You are demonstrating how brain dead you are with every post.
  6. Not everyone can get vaccinated, you ***** moron. Like I said, you have no idea what you’re talking about.
  7. Poyer is the player you do want to extend, for PR reasons. Signing a free agent for peanuts who well out-performs his contract and "taking care of him," is the name of the game.
  8. The real solution to this problem is to cure morons from their thinking disease. Vaccines work if 99.9% of people aren't retawded. That's what we need.
  9. I agree. This only turns more moderate democrat voters against their establishment candidates. The same folks who couldn't bear to vote for Hilly are grossed out by this nonsense.
  10. Huh? Hollywood is going to cast him in some Oscar-bait role and reward him.
  11. Yeah, this isn't about just "wages" in the 1800s. Correct.
  12. They would argue that you and your family benefitted from the fruits of slavery.
  13. Not me. Whatever point you think you’re about to make, think it over carefully.
  14. Even if such a station existed, the answer is not to become the evil we wish to see defeated. I have zero problems with American forces acting in American self-interests to defeat credible threats to our safety at home or abroad. But we owe it to ourselves, our servicemen and woman, and those who came before to not become the monsters we are forced to fight. Period.
  15. Fun Twitter thread for anyone who frequents or god forbid donates to Wikipedia.
  16. Do you believe that The_Douch being banned is a form of oppression? Furthermore, do you believe that there is room for unprovoked violent threats against groups of people of any creed or national origin in political discourse?
  17. Hey John! Good to see you down here. If I could clarify, I think lots of people felt wronged by buying into Obama's style over substance. And they fear you're doing the same, which is why they want you to specifically say why she feels "real." Lots of folks down here don't like subjectivity without at least specific reasons. We all like people at least partially subjectively, that's human nature. It helps to articulate why. Glad to see you here though. I think you're an every man and a proud American (I mean that as a compliment). And I think this country would be leagues improved if we could discuss ideas rationally and amicably from the ground up with folks who are just dipping their toe in the political minefield. I would say there's a time for eloquence, calmness, and collectiveness as well as a time for: My ideal candidate expresses both of these in equal measure as the individual situation requires. Obama was too much the former, and lots of folks believe Trump is too far the latter. Basically what I'm saying is that I'm the best person to be president.
  18. I think most people "in the know" didn't think the Giants were taking anyone but Saquon at #2. The league reaction to that pick was far less than the fan reaction.
  19. Well that depends on if you think the Bills would have been okay with Darnold at 7. I'd imagine they would.
  20. The story that makes the most sense is that they were concerned 1 of Allen/Darnold would be gone first, and then pick #3, the Jets would take the other. Seems like the Browns gave us a hand by not taking either.
