  1. Right, no moral victories. But it's one thing to compete and it's another thing to consistently look like you do not belong.
  2. All I know is that Week 1 victory isn't looking as good right now.
  3. Plenty of times where Brady was hanging onto it for quite some time with a four man rush. The front 4 failed.
  4. I disagree with all of you. The Colts game was never on the same level as the Pats game. The local and national media was calling this the biggest game we have had since the playoffs were on the line against the Steelers over a decade ago. Before the ball was snapped, everyone from the players, to the media, to the fans, believed this game was organization changing and was more significant than any other game we have had in recent memory. Now that the defense collapsed and performed at historical lows, we can say it was "just one game" and "it's only week 2". I don't buy it. It's easy to backtrack when you fall flat on your face.
  5. By meaningful, I mean organization changing and finally turning the corner from mediocrity.
  6. It seems whenever we need this group to be elite, they come up flat. When the chips are down, the national media is talking about how good we are and we need a big time performance, the defense comes up small and is physically over-matched. It happened last year against Oakland and it happened this past Sunday. I realize we played Denver and Green Bay at a very high level last year, but we were still under the radar and nobody expected us to win those games. Personally, l will think this defense can be considered elite when they perform and don't play flat when it matters the most.
  7. While Brady did get the ball out quickly on a majority of snaps, there were plenty of times where we rushed 4, Brady was waiting on a route to develop and the D-line had plenty of time to get to Brady or at least disrupt him. That was a baffling performance by that group against an inexperienced and rookie filled offensive line.
  8. Yeah but I feel like other top teams (Pittsburgh in years past, Denver, Baltimore, etc.) at least compete and play them tough. It seems we are completely over-matched and don't belong on the same field 99% of the time we snap the football against them. And they beat us with the exact same scheme every single time, which is the most frustrating part.
  9. Why yes, because ceilings are decided after a player's second career start.
  10. Ok real talk... where on earth are you getting this "3 seconds" garbage from? Scoop the idea from Jaworski on ESPN this morning?
  11. And even then, we are still two-three years away to find our difference maker who can read defenses at the line of scrimmage, get rid of the ball in exactly 2-3 seconds and put up 40+ points a week. WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT.
  12. Hit his hands.
  13. Check Craigslist. Ok riddle me this... If TT is not your difference maker superstar after his 2nd career start, who in your eyes fills this unfeasible void?
  14. Again, expectations. Unrealistic. This team is not built to win in a shootout with any team in the NFL. The offense couldn't put up 41 points! What the heck?
  15. I think the problem is your expectation of Tyrod to be the reason we won today.
  16. I would expect to complete every pass. I would expect to never make any mistakes. I would expect to play flawless in every facet of the game. I would expect us to win every game. Yes we need a QB to score 40+ points a game or he will never start in this league.
  17. The offense put up 32 points. We should win a lot of games if we get that kind of production moving forward. It was TT's second career start. This loss was on the defense today. Your grasping at straws.
  18. Haha is that serious?
  19. I wouldn't call our offensive line expensive.
  20. Give it up
  21. This. Can't just sit back and let Brady dink and dunk you all day. Most (everyone) likes when a team plays with emotion. But there is a fine line to being fired up and being reckless. The Bills were reckless today, showed lack of poise and committed dumb penalties against a team that will make you pay.
  22. I don't even understand the thought process in our approach today. We played the Pats exactly how you can't play them to have a chance. Most yards by Brady in his career against Buffalo. They threw it nearly 60 times, BB felt more comfortable slingin it for one yard then he did running.
  23. BB said in his presser that he was shocked that we hardly blitzed at all in the first half.
