  1. Clickbait headlines aren't Rex specific.
  2. Another direct quote from the article. "The internal disagreement regarding politics has yet to impact the team in a negative way; since starting 0-2, the Bills have beaten the Cardinals and Patriots." You're clearly commenting on something you didn't read.
  3. Your opinion means more than a player's quote on how they feel? Agree to disagree I guess.
  4. They have a direct quote of saying it negatively affected their opinion of their coach. Did you read it?
  5. Directly from the OP: "If folks could put their politics aside, can we have a discussion about whether or not our head football coach should be endorsing candidates and attending rallies regardless of party affiliation? Why risk alienating the locker room on either side? If your main concern is truly about winning and bringing a championship to Buffalo, then why even step into the fray? To me, this is just another example of Rex being more about himself than the team and his recklessness as a coach." Doesn't sound like inviting a political conversation to me.
  6. Not sure how you got here. If a handful of players say they don't like Rex supporting a candidate and they lost respect for him, is that not locker room tension?
  7. I'm not offended, nor did I post the thread. Obey the TOS when on TSW. That's it.
  8. If they didn't, then none of the rest of your post matters. It doesn't matter if Lynn and Tyrod love Rex if player's have commented on Rex's politics and how they think less of him. Not sure how that's a media spin job.
  9. And they aren't allowed to. The topic will be nuked or moved once a mod takes a look around.
  10. Do you think they made up the anonymous player comments?
  11. You move Charles Clay to the outside, he starts demanding WR money and Sammy walks feeling slighted. Not worth the risk.
  12. I doubt Richie is alone in having somewhat laughable opinions. What matters is respecting your coach and team enough to not **** on them anonymously.
  13. Their "anonymous" comments affect the locker room just as much. Except they are too big of babies to put their name next to their opinion. I would respect a guy who had the nerve to put his name next to what he thought. I don't respect cowards who are content to take potshots at others from their veil of anonymity. And I'm certain Rex would feel the same way.
  14. The anonymous Bills players making comments about Rex to the media are total cowards. At least Rex has the stones to admit what he believes publicly.
  15. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 1m1 minute ago Former Bills' RB Karlos Williams visiting with his former Buffalo team, per source. Bills expected to resign him. Expected to re-sign.
  16. You'd think but imagine how bad your off the field transgressions would have to be to get taken off a draft board.
  17. Not to mention he wasn't even on most teams' draft boards. Hard to believe this latest development changed their mind.
  18. Moral of the story is that the 2014 Draft was chock full of talent.
  19. I definitely agree with your last point about it being easy to sign. Whaley was blamed for not bringing in vet WR's to shore up the position this year, but it's my opinion that guys like Boldin etc aren't trying to play for the Bills in their twilight years blocking 80% of the time. Which makes them hard to go after.
  20. VYoung and Leinhart were 2014, not 2013 IIRC. Failing to predict Kevin Kolb's injury is precisely what I was saying with the "easily foreseeable" blunders. If your plan is reliant on Kolb staying healthy, it's a bad plan. Even though fans were "ready" to move on with Fitz, cutting him set the stage for the mess of 2013 and 2014. Furthermore, if Kyle Orton was signed earlier, who knows if we beat Houston or SD and make the playoffs that season.
  21. Good teams don't re-sign bust draft picks. Whaley's mismanagement of the QB position has nothing to do with not having a great option. More so, it has to deal with his short-term thinking and failure to plan, which, he seems to have rectified since 2015, but still. 2 years down the drain. Hear hear.
  22. Promo asked me a question that I answered. Worked up? How so? Because I've made two posts on the subject? Spiller's fair value is a pack of gum, not $5M per. And mismanaging the QB position in today's NFL is not the definition of a minor miscue, IMO.
  23. That's not an excuse. Mistakes are mistakes.
