  1. At the end of the day, y'all are still working all y'all little jobs so whatever.
  2. I thought the "Promo blames the fans" narrative might've been overblown, but holy cow.
  3. That seems like a poor model to base anything off of. Especially when Bridgewater/Carr could've been the pick in 2014, Wilson in 2012, Dalton in 2011, etc etc. all picked after the Bills and would've painted a much different picture.
  4. Why would we have drafted Johnny Football over Teddy Bridgewater? Or the 90 year old Brandon Weeden Why would we take one with our first rounder every year?
  5. Tyrod, Cardale and a rookie makes 3... just like this season.
  6. This kind of analysis could also be applied to Cam, Kaep, Wilson, VY, Vick, but it rarely is.
  7. I'm not saying it was easy, or Tyrod blew it, just that a play like that is one of those game-breakers. It's one that we'd be singing his praises if he made.
  8. Why are you cherry-picking the possessions? Are you suggesting the Bills offense stops trying to score after they get a lead, moreso than all the other teams in the NFL? There are teams in the top half of the league of offensive points that are focused on a running game and playing good defense, you know.
  9. And the Bills are below average in offensive point production. Would you point to McCoy and the running game as the most likely cause of that?
  10. I think most people are using his yardage because it's easy to point to as a symptom of his poor play. If TT was going 10/10 for 100 yards and 2 TD's and we were winning going away, that'd be a different story.
  11. Why? Would it be silly to criticize Gilmore's play when the defense is having a good year? Is he unique or Russell Wilson? I see those used interchangeably. Boom.
  12. But when the Seahawks D returns 2 picks for TD's, no one says Russell Wilson put up 14 points...
  13. TT is unable to carry Wilson's jock as a QB, unfortunately. We were close to the bottom last year in passing yards but this year, we are at the bottom. And last year we missed the postseason, TT's gaudy (and clearly inflated) stats notwithstanding. And with a year of tape on TT, he's struggling. We don't have the offense of last year.
  14. Here's a list of the 32nd ranked passing teams in the last 10 years. 2015 - Rams (missed the playoffs with the leading rusher in the NFL and a stout defense) 2014 - NYJ (went 4-12 with a stout D) 2013 - Tampa Bay (worst record in the NFL) 2012 - KC Chiefs (2-14, worst record in the NFL) 2011 - Jags (5-11, missed the postseason) 2010 - Carolina Panthers ( worst record in the NFL) 2009 - Cleveland Browns (5-11, missed postseason) 2008 - Oakland (5-11, missed postseason) 2007 - SF (5-11, missed postseason) 2006 - ATL Falcons (7-9, missed postseason) We can keep beating the sustainable drum and compare the 2016 Buffalo Bills to historic defenses like Denver, Seattle, the 2000 Ravens, but 10 years of history says otherwise. Not to mention that absolutely dumb stuff TT continues to do, like snap the ball with 20 seconds on the playclock with the lead in the 4th Q, run OOB for a 1-2 yard loss instead of throwing the ball away etc etc.
  15. The Rams were just on a 3 game streak with Case Keenum, so uh what?
  16. Cautious optimism Promo. You dance on so many graves so early, and you may fall in one.
  17. 1 game over .500. Let's not be too hasty. Or we may have the next Saint Doug.
