  1. And they are both great defenses who seem to be able to cope. That was the point. Having a struggling offense isn't killing Zimmer or Wade. It's killing Rex.
  2. There are good defenses who have offenses with worse 3 and out percentages. We don't have one of them
  3. KC has been the second best team in TO differential 3 out of the last 4 years. There's your answer.
  4. Can we see a TO differential? That would probably shed some light.
  5. Neck injury again gives Aaron Williams a decision to make
  6. FYI: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/189688-aaron-williams-to-ir/
  7. Okay, I hear ya. But I still disagree. Let's take the Bills as a real-life example. We aren't going anywhere without a QB if we don't take some risks. If we want to field the most talented team possible, we need to take the most risks possible. We aren't beating Brady by taking inferior RB's or LB's who are "safer." We are only making it to the promised land with pure star power and talent and yes, a little luck. If some guy with concussion concerns goes down, it's a blow. And yes, if our backup is also an injury risk (I'm just piggy backing off your bar napkin), yes we could be in extreme danger. But if our backup is the difference between 1 or 2 TD's a game compared to a "safer" RB, I'm all for it. Go big or go home.
  8. Chris Brown ‏@ChrisBrownBills 54s54 seconds ago Official - #Bills sign Percy Harvin - Aaron Williams to injured reserve, another season ended prematurely. RIP Bills defense.
  9. Not sure I agree with that. Many of our blue chippers came from Nix. We definitely make riskier moves now with Whaley, Steelers undoubtedly follow this approach.
  10. There's a point there but not every "risky" pick is a criminal or psycho. Some guys fall due to injuries etc etc. I just don't know how feasible it is to draft leaders who are stars with no concerns. Leadership is hard to find in the NFL. Football character is important no doubt, 53 Martavis Bryants, Karlos Williams, Percy's etc. is a recipe for disaster
  11. It could be argued that taking Karlos in the fifth round for his 2015 year of production was worth it, IMO. How many fifth round picks produce as much over their careers as Karlos did in one season? I agree with you that the Bills are following this approach, and I also think they aren't going far enough in certain respects. Like anything else, you either go all the way or none of it. The Bills still have their fair share of "safe" picks and I think that's been a major problem. If I was in the FO, I would never ever ever take a high floor/low ceiling prospect.
  12. Nick Foles set QB records that year, should we grab him?
  13. I don't know if you saw, but he just unretired at the drop of a hat. Clearly not that concerning.
  14. Woods has hated every QB besides Orton.....for good reason.
  15. You may have the wildest definition of "single-handedly" of all time.
  16. Gilmore allowed Brady a perfect passer rating. Not sure how Wood could be worse than letting the opposing player play a perfect game.
