  1. Ever since that Kaep thread, the ban hammer being very liberally applied, and some characters missing, it's been a rough year. 26CB, I think seeing as you have taken on the role of news aggregator, when you make declarations, they carry more weight due to that role. It may not hurt adding an IMO or "I think" every once in a while when it's just an opinion.
  2. We all get it. The offense going three and out all the time and non sustaining drives doesn't help the defense, but Rexy still sucks. We can all move on.
  3. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 1m1 minute ago Stunner: Vikings' OC Norv has resigned, league sources tell ESPN. http://es.pn/2edKlIz 0 replies 126 retweets 48 likes Probably felt horrible about bringing down that terrific defense.
  4. You haven't argued that injuries derailed the defense? Not even here? You seriously just compared those injuries to what the Bills have been through over the last 24 games? But no, for real, Gilmore and Dareus missing a combined 3 starts crippled us in 2014. Just like AW and KW missing a combined 23 starts in 2015. Seriously. It was the same. Do you have DID?
  5. Our rising star LB missed 16 games, but because we didn't have a hack at DC, he gets no credit. Our starting CB missed half the season, but again, not a hack at DC, no credit.
  6. Sounds like a really dumb idea to run a system predicated on an above average safety whose head has been in danger of falling off for two years then, isn't it? I don't see the offense running a system based on Goodwin staying healthy.
  7. Bills offense spotted the Lions 7 early and the Bills defense held them to 7 all game? The Bills started the game with 4 straight 3 and outs and the Bills D only allowed 7 points and forced 1 INT? This is what I'm talking about when I reference you picking and choosing what you look at.
  8. As an owner, you don't hire a horrific HC who has no choice but to fire the only positive on your staff.
  9. That's not what I'm referring to homie. Pats have lost 1 game with a QB carousel.
  10. So we aren't the worst or second worst. Yep. I'm sure if we were, you'd argue the bottom 5 are basically all the same. Because you'd definitely be unbiased. BTW, the Pats are right where the Bills are in 3 and out percentage. Calls me juvenile, then resorts to insults. Funny how that always seems to happen.
  11. Denver lost a game? The horror. Denver and Minny still have awesome defense that are both much better than the Bills, no matter how much you try to nit pick and deflect. Because other defenses can clearly compensate, why can't ours? Let's talk to our defensive mastermind coach who, if you're keeping score, got destroyed by Jay Ajayi and Ryan Fitzpatrick. You're saying the offense isn't to blame for the defense? What?
  12. If it's a valid excuse, why doesn't Denver and Minny have bad defenses this year like the Bills? We (you and I) talk about the Bills relative to other teams all the time. You do it every time you cite our 3 and out ranking or virtually any other stat. What you're really trying to say is that when the data doesn't support the theory that having a bad O means you have to have a bad D, you don't look at it. Denver's D is immaterial, because they are great with a worse offense. Football isn't played in a vacuum? That's true, however, that is an excuse that could be made for every argument. Every time you bring up the Oakland loss in 2014, football isn't played in a vacuum. Every heat map of opposing averages, football isn't played in a vacuum. I'd love to see the numbers of the poll that says most folks blame the offense for the defense playing like crap for 2 seasons now. Link.
  13. Everyone understands what you're saying. No one else thinks it's a valid excuse. There's a key distinction.
  14. And like I said, Denver and Minnesota have worse 3 and out percentages this season and still have top 5 defenses. They handle the lopsided pressure just fine, apparently. In fact, Denver crushes this team in drives and plays per game but we crush them in average plays per drive. Do you know why? Their defense gets them the ball back, and ours doesn't. Complimentary football goes both ways.
  15. All defenses feel added pressure when offenses can't sustain drives. You aren't reinventing the wheel here. And seeing as that's the case, it's no excuse that exonerates the defense or Rex Ryan.
  16. Why are their defenses better than ours? Denver is objectively worse than us at sustaining drives. Your data supports that. Minnesota is closer.
  17. Oh, I do. I also know that Denver and Minnesota are both statistically top 5 in YPP, PPG, YPG and a multitude of other categories. With worse offenses in terms of sustaining drives as ours. How do you explain that?
