  2. They also seem to follow Rex, which is an interesting trend, don't you think?
  3. I think because Pegula is letting it all play out. That's my best guess. If I was an owner, I'd be doing it differently, but that's where we are. I don't think he's decided to keep or fire Rex or TT. He may be leaning one way or another, but he will wait until the season is over and assess rather than be hasty. The risk is clear with TTs contract, but he must have weighed that against "being sure."
  4. I think the coaching world at large looks at the general state of the Bills and recognizes RR has really botched it. His reputation of tough defenses has fallen flat two years running. It'd be like hiring a hot shot OC with a reputation of being an offensive mastermind and his O stinks. You failed at the thing you were hired for.
  5. Probably, but leaks happen all the time in the NFL. It's no excuse.
  6. I realize it's easy to blame a nameless, faceless informant for "tearing the team and fanbase apart," (very melodramatic, btw), but no one would care, on this team or on this board, about those reports if the Bills hold on against the Raiders. Or if they don't look like a team headed for the gallows against Pittsburgh, getting run over left and right. I wish it was as simple as "be positive and positive things will happen," but if LaCanfora's report doesn't come out on Sunday, Zach Brown still shy's away from tackles and Bell still embarrasses us, and Rex's seat would still be hot. That's just the truth. Do you think Jerry was screaming at Rob because of Vic Carrucci, or because he's pissed at the performance on the field?
  7. Nah, the horrific choke jobs and disgusting performances did that.
  8. Rex fired the best DB coach the Bills have ever had to replace him with cronies. He's terrible dude. #4 to #19 to #18. He was hired to run a strong defense and can't.
  9. Only the Bills would promote a GM who managed to get 8-8 twice. Boo this man.
  10. How many different ways do I have to tell you, Whaley does not decide on whether to "keep" Rex. Most likely, Rex is coaching to attempt to save his job, as I doubt he's been told he's done. Whaley is hoping against hope that TT shows him something in the next 3 games to warrant keeping him, thus ensuring his own job security. And Pegula is asleep but ready to can somebody if we have a losing record. I doubt he's making any decisions of who should go right now.
  11. The argument is that the GM and HC do not report to each other and may have different agendas.
  12. The ownership interfering in game day decisions is exactly the precedent you don't want to set when you are about to look for a new HC. Have you heard of the Browns? Technically you're right, but when a HC says X is the starter and the GM cuts him, it's clearly evident of a major problem and Whaley already is surrounded by rumors of alienating HC's. Rex has a history of being stubborn too. Remember when he was forced to start Geno and ran 60 times in primetime? We don't want that level of dysfunction.
  13. That's going over Rex's head and probably makes Whaley look worse than anything. I'm sure he's calling Pegula and expressing his concerns to cover his ass.
  14. Whaley has no say. Rex controls the starters and doesn't report to Whaley. The Bills have a very crappy and problematic organization structure and it's on the Pegulas for doing that. They screwed up, again.

  16. Does it matter? Even if we won the Superbowl in 2017, the fans would still want the Pegulas to clean house.
