That's why I said, "to some extent." Consciously making the 2017 Bills worse off is an admission they aren't going anywhere soon. At least until 2018-2019. When we have so many short term players on the roster that are key contributors like, Shady, TT, Kyle, you are giving up on them. You are saying they aren't good enough and we're going to wait for the future. That's throwing in the towel on the year. To some extent.

That's what I'm saying. I agree. Their justification for these moves make their other moves idiotic. There's no plan. Watkins was in their plans if he got healthy.....until he wasn't. They are screwing up with half-measures, not rebuilding, not going all-in, so we can return to 6-10 form forever.
