  1. The way Murphy has played, Allen would have high stepped out of his grasp for a first down.
  2. I kind of like not doing that. It’s a little bit of a statement. We’re going to run it down your throat whether you like it or not.
  3. Of course they will. If Josh Allen is our starting QB in 10 years and has a track record of taking us deep into the playoffs, everyone will be happy with him. Good lord. This is the fan base that immortalized Kelly and he couldn’t even manage to win a Super Bowl.
  4. I’ve seen several players kick in the groin, and rip at helmets. None of that constituted game suspensions. Ever.
  5. Please show me another QB who got in a scrum with a defender who has received a game suspension in the NFL. Thanks for playing.
  6. They don’t get it. By just saying, “It’s a treatment!” is not a valid excuse for the NFL. You cant say you need HGH and then just take it, either.
  7. They aren’t really inconsistent. Hitting a QB in the head with a helmet was just very bad. Not sure how you aren’t getting this.
  8. I said it at the start, a QB who took that ***** lying down, and let himself get punked in a loss like that would be the worst kind of QB to have on your time. You want a QB who would react like Rudolph did if you knew anything about competition.
  9. How is that disingenuous? He smoked prior to diagnosis. He smoked regulalry enough to get suspended THREE TIMES in college for it. Then he gets diagnosed and it’s the only treatment that works for him. And he gets suspended again for it in the NFL. I have seen many people with colostomies. It sucks. I can appreciate the gravity of Seantrel’s condition, as well as the coincidence of marijuana as his first line treatment. It’s possible to have two thoughts in one brain.
  10. I wouldn’t care about the fine but I’d be proud and fired up that Allen didn’t back down.
  11. This topic proves why PPP is the best. @Bob in Mich on page one - “Just ignore Gary’s posts if you don’t want to engage in his discussion, don’t try to silence him!” @Bob in Mich on page 6 - “I won’t just ignore @Deranged Rhino, he needs to be silenced, which is a totally different situation than the one from earlier because (liberal reasons/it personally involves me!!!!)” Proving yet again, if you give a dummy enough rope down here, he’ll hang himself.
  12. AJ Green choked out Ramsey from behind and punched him. Didn’t receive any kind of suspension after the game.
  13. AJ Green choking out Jalen Ramsey didn’t even get a full game.
  14. Seriously. Head kicks, eye jabs, etc etc. And some folks think a bad QB “getting in a defender’s face” is suspension worthy. Sometimes I feel like we watch different games.
  15. The difference was that Peyton could barely complete a pass, was throwing twice as many picks as TD’s and got pseudobenched with an “injury” for half of the year.
  16. Getting into guys faces hasn’t really been grounds for suspension in the NFL.
  17. It’s so football oriented. White kids and black kids play basketball and imagine themselves as Curry, Harden, Durant, Lebron, etc etc. But when they play football, it has to be the Adam Thielen’s vs the Mike Vick’s for whatever weird reason. It’s probably media driven honestly. I still want to be Randy Moss.
  18. It was a brawl with a horrific visual . Without the helmet swing, I would have been okay with zero suspensions. However, Garrett lost his mind. But after it devolved, I agree with the indefinite suspension, the reduced suspension of Pouncey and also fining Rudolph for his involvement.
  19. No problem with the fine at all. Everyone involved needed a nominal punishment.
