  1. You could just not do that. This food fight crap between the same 3-4 posters isn't a good read. PM each other about it.
  2. Sorry, I thought I said it. Many folks on this board, and cited scouts believed Shaq Lawson had good pass-rushing skills, I did not.
  3. https://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/186213-rd-1-pick-19-de-shaq-lawson-clemson-university/?p=3931602 Someone asked why it was a hot button issue. I answered.
  4. Maybe, but maybe not. And he may not be worth the second contract he gets. Agreed, but that was not argued last year. There were a ton of posts about his sack numbers in college.
  5. When he was drafted, a very vocal number of fans thought Shaq was a top 5-10 talent who was drafted late because of his shoulder. His surgery and setback were regarded as the "price" for getting a top 5-10 talent at #19. And that once his shoulder healed, he would be a different player. That's why it's still debated.
  6. Well that's what this sounded like. Have you watched every game Wentz has played?
  7. Jeez some folks really can't agree to disagree ever.
  8. You literally said that the primetime games are the reason for your thoughts.
  9. 14 is the new 5. Maybe and maybe not. If they do it for one season, then regress? No.
  10. He doesn't have those stats. He's projected to possibly have those stats. Would getting a kicker in the top quartile of his position with the 19th pick be a solid choice? No, because positions have different values.
  11. Why would we not? Our 19th pick wasn't contingent on drafting DL only. Can't have any first round busts on your team if you cut them all.
  12. I've watched every game Wentz has played, and not just the primetime ones.
  13. That sounds all well and good, but 2016 was an aberrational year for sacks in general. In 2015, 8 sacks would've been a 5 way tie at 22nd in sacks. In 2014, 8 sacks would've been a 6 way tie at 26th in sacks. In 2013, 8 sacks would've been a 6 way tie at 36th in sacks. Edit: whoops, you're comparing Shaq versus a much smaller sample size. Shaq with 8 sacks would've still been a 9 way tie at 22nd in sacks in 2016.
  14. No one could actually believe this. A better QB can get by with worse WR's. You're denying reality.
  15. He's played 14 games. That was enough to determine EJ blew chunks.
  16. That's because of the #rings. Give me a QB who you live or die with because they can carry a team versus a guy who won't you lose you games so you can squeak into the playoffs and get rolled by a good team please.
  17. Ogbah taken after Shaq has 7.5 career sacks to Shaq's 4. There have been many historical pass rushers taken in the late first/early second who have had more success than Shaq.
  18. Hyperacute to perceived flaws or deficiencies. Basically, if Tyrod missed a couple throws in a good game, Happy would say, "every QB misses some throws." If Wentz/Watson/any young QB missed a couple throws in a good game, Happy say, "Wentz/Watson/etc are too inconsistent, did you see that throw he missed in the third quarter in between his fourth and fifth TD? I wont crown him yet." It's hyperfunny. The point you are making would be more well-received if you weren't doing the exact same thing of what you're complaining about.
  19. He'll never leave us as long as we keep him in our hearts.
  20. Certain species of lizards can detach their tails to escape from predators.
  21. You are hyperacute about every young QB not named Taylor. Not sure that's debateable.
