  1. Awesome for him. Charity doesn’t mean you get to act like a baby. Your take is hilarious when you’ve argued for YEARS that getting emotionally attached to the Bills and treating them like anything other than entertainment is stupid, but when Russ Salvatore pens a letter with tears streaming down his face about quitting being a fan because coach McD is just so bad, well you gotta learn your history! He’s a super fan! I care about Russ Salvatore’s fandom as much as I care about Elvis’s and Fireman Ed’s. They are free to root for whoever doesn’t make them weep crocodile tears as long as they stop embarrassing themselves while doing it.
  2. He also misjudges pressure sometimes and doesn’t step into his throws for fear of contacting a defender. Nitpicky stuff really. I think he’s made lots of strides and will continue through this year. I imagine tape of Josh vs LA week 2 and Josh vs Dallas would look like two completely different players.
  3. Right to protest? He’s a fan. It’s entertainment. If you don’t like the station, change the channel. My only “grudge” against Russ is that by penning that letter, he sounds like a egotistical child. “The Bills are upsetting ME!!!!! I hate you Sean McDermott!!!!!!” PU and good riddance.
  4. Yeah so “we are the the worst in the league BY FAR,” really meant by 0.3% in front of one of the Super Bowl favorites.
  5. So write a letter and put it in the garbage. Don’t send it. We joke about “I’m so DONE with this team” posts on TBD because it’s the ultimate crybaby look at me move about a game. Might as well pen a letter to Hollywood because Tony Stark died. I don’t really care if Russell is the Bill Gates of Buffalo. It’s a childish move. An 85 year old man “with a broken heart” about a football team because they had a down year with a rookie QB? For the love of god, it’s embarrassing. He even writes like a child. “Congratulations Coach McDermott, you win!” Eyeroll.gif
  6. Even if it were true, it’s a drop in the bucket. I have the Bills at 20 dropped passes on the year, tied for second in the NFL with the Pats. That’s 4.4% of our passes this year. If we dropped it to league average of 15, that’d be 3.3%. Hardly a stark change.
  7. He would have been over 60 in the Baltimore game without a bunch of missed passes. The numbers are the numbers.
  8. 14th would be above average considering there are 64 #1 and #2 WR’s, no?
  9. Who takes the time to write that letter? Who has that kind of ego? Bananas even in Bills land. You own a restaurant bro, chill out.
  10. I like this new trend. Maybe the Josh Allen week 15 Report Card topic is really about Duck Hodges.
  11. Oh that’s why your title was “Saint Doug beig Saint Doug” because this topic was about Yannick. Sure dude.
  12. Yeah I get weird early Flacco-vibes out of Josh. He’ll follow up an inaccurate pass with a dart that only a handful of QB’s could make, and when he’s hot, he elevates his game to a different level.
  13. Oh no doubt. i will also add that “not pretty” for Josh has gotten so much better already. Not pretty last year or earlier this year was a multi TO and multi sack game. Games that your QB flat out loses for you. He doesn’t do that anymore, which means we can really hang with anyone.
  14. Tommy boy has been playing so bad some people think he should retire so that’s comparison may not prove what you think it does.
  15. Duck came out at halftime and drove down the field to take the lead with a touchdown.
  16. Josh Allen went from being the most raw QB in the NFL to a good starter on a playoff team in a year and a half so no.
  17. I’ll settle for another excellent #2 with Beasley in the slot. A Hopkins or Julio would be cool, but it’s all about stress on the defense, and preventing defensive keys on Brown half the time because of another threat would open up our passing game immensely.
