  1. "He is the reason our offense scored points in 2015 and 2016!" "He isn't the reason our offense didn't score points this year." What I wouldn't give for a QB who can take credit and blame equally. The CoT is the EJ Cult on steroids.
  2. DeonteThompsonWideOpenOnFlyRoute.gif. Bills have been bottom five in passing big plays for two years in a row. Unless we bring back Sammy, Woods, Hogan, Goodwin and Harvin, I think it's over for TT and the "high scoring offense that led the league in big plays." Perhaps that had something to do with LeSean going from 800 yards to 1200 on 30 more carries, with 9 more TD's and almost a full yard more than his career average YPC. Just something to think about. Maybe the 400 yard and 63 point difference had nothing to do with it.
  3. I enjoy it when so much work goes behind what constitutes an obvious list of knee-jerk decisions. Charles Clay not on this roster costs exactly the same amount as he does, so why would we create a hole for zero cap savings. F-, see me after class.
  4. Gronk could have broken his neck. Ngakoue could have had his feelings hurt. Cmon bro! Have a heart.
  5. We know that one guy said something happened and another guy said something different. And the first guy was intentionally very vague about what happened, which raises more questions than answers. Why is a healthy dose of skepticism such a problem to you? I don't know if that Jaguars player is lying or not. I do know it'd be really bizarre for Incognito to call him the n-word or tell him to go back to Africa in front of his mostly black teammates. I don't think they'd be too happy about it and it'd be ridiculous. Apparently, pointing out the absurdity of that and posting on PPP means I have an agenda.
  6. People forget that Richie is an honorary black guy. We do know that he is considered more black than Joanathan Martin, but it's unclear if he has surpassed Russell Wilson and RG3. We should poll the Bills and find out. The solution is simple. Don't be a hypocrite or moron.
  7. Why would you only include 13 QB's instead of 32? See what I'm talking about here? These QB's could be cherry-picked. Or they could just not be indicative of the entire league. You could be right, I'm not even saying you're wrong. I'm saying the data you are presenting is insufficient to draw a conclusion.
  8. Making the playoffs for the first time in 2017 years as our starting QB for 15 games. Listen, I think the guy is stinky too. But we made the playoffs, and that certainly defined the year for me. He's starting on Sunday and the next 3 games after that, can't we give it a rest until the day after the Super Bowl?
  9. Well why shouldn't they? He gets credit, doesn't he? Are you saying that credit doesn't count or something?
  10. Since when do 10 picks equal 8-10 starters? The Bills have drafted 1 QB in the first round in 10 years. And they currently have two starters who were drafted in the first on the team. Sooooooooo don't draft OL and LB's, what if they suck?
  11. What? No. What? No. Not as GM. Apparently "happened under your watch, you get credit," doesn't actually apply.
  12. Grigson drafted the best QB prospect this decade. Should the Packers hire him?
  13. Spiller had a great deal of physical talent, but was mentally unfit for the NFL. He simply didn't have the vision, instincts and football IQ to master a playbook. It took him 4 years to play at a starter level under Chan. He has been an absolute bust every where else in his career. Spiller's career will be defined as one flash in the pan season, gobs of potential and what ends up to be an overall uninspiring, if not bad career as an NFLer. The Vince Young of RB's.
  14. If the Dolphins were meh and the Jets finished behind them, who cares that they won 5 games rather than 2? PFR's simple rating system had the strength of schedule pretty close between the two teams, FWIW. -.2 for the Rams and -.5 for the Bills on a scale where 0.0 is average and the ranges are 2.2 to -2.8. Both teams had an easier schedule as compared to the average team. And I think the Bills being -.5 means they actually had an easier schedule.
  15. Tyrod Taylor has gotten worse every year that he's played. I think they have. Also, it wasn't just the Ravens who said that. In fact, let's go down the list. In 2017: Lowest TD% of his career. Lowest YPA of his career. Lowest AYPA, Y/C, Y/G, passer rating, QBR. Most sacks, sack yards, highest sack percentage. Lowest, NY/A, ANY/A. Lowest rushing total, lowest YPC, lowest rushing yards per game, lowest rushing TD total. So what were you saying about defenses not having the blueprint again?
  16. Hughes has a plan to text Dareus Sunday morning. "Race you to the Mongolian buffet before the game?" Dareus probably won't be back until halftime.
  17. Remember when we had to debate between keeping Hogan at all versus Easley because we had Watkins, Woods, Harvin, Goodwin already? Besides Harvin, who retired after being a quality starter for almost all of his career, and Easley, the rest are quality starters across the league in their prime.
  18. The Julius Thomas deal was even worse. 5 year, $46M, played in 21 games, caught 76 balls for 730 yards and 9 TD's in that span. Then traded for a 7th rounder.
  19. You missed the point. He doesn't need to get the data for me. He needs to get it for him. "Tyrod Taylor has a 50% TD pass rate when the moon is in the 7th house in October and it's 61 degrees in Buffalo. That's why he's valuable!" "That stat doesn't prove anything on its own." Sounds like a football discussion to me. However, your response was, "Why are you ordering somebody to get data for you?" Rather than engaging in the actual valid criticism of his football argument.
  20. A degenerative knee condition, yes. And the best TE to hit UFA since at least 2011. It's a position with an absolute dearth at talent in today's NFL. Hell, Charles Clay wasn't the worst TE contract signed that YEAR.
  21. Sometimes you have to pay top 10 guys top 5 money to get them in FA. I've gone back and forth on this and that's what I believe. The lack of professionalism clauses in Dareus' contract was EGREGIOUS.
  22. Well said. I'd like to add that ISIS is all but eradicated. Nice work.
