  1. Bortles comes to play when he's going head to head against Brady. Has Tyrod thrown a TD against NE in his career?
  2. Coaching and play calling has made him look really good today. Excellent game plan. He has made a few big time throws.
  3. See you when the clock reads 00. If Dougie wins his first ring with Bortles at QB, will the debate be over? Or not yet?
  4. Marrone got to the Jags to the Super Bowl. They have picked in the top 5 for the last 5 years.
  5. Marrone is a better HC than McDermott. Between the Pittsburgh performance and this first half of football, he may be the most underrated HC in all of football. Wild.
  6. Tyrod gets "flack" because there are some here who have consistently argued that he was better than what he was. Which is a low end starter. That scares a lot of fans, because if McD and Beane hold that same opinion, they may not be as aggressive in actually attaining the QB of the future. This team should be operating like TT is not an option and there are zero QB's on the roster worth anything at all. Had they acted like that in the first place, Deshaun Watson would be our new on-his-way-to-franchise QB already, and TT would be a footnote. This team has lacked The Guy since Kelly. McD already showed he was willing to punt on a QB and roll with Tyrod last season. If he does that again, I'll pull my !@#$ing hair out.
  7. He probably expects that because the BN has offered articles for free online since, well, they started online.
  8. Not in this topic they haven't. Are you trolling? That's feasible too. We can all agree there is a clear deficiency in his game under center somewhere. It's the only thing that makes sense. It's a shame because being effective and multi dimensional from under center is so important to being a successful NFL QB.
  9. I literally made the distinction of "under center" being very important. Because, you know, PA from the gun does not require the QB to turn around to sell the fake. This is football 101 bro. Take a seat, and you might learn something about the sport.
  10. Those do not distinguish between under center and in the shotgun. As I'm sure you know, we ran quite a bit of PA in the gun.
  11. Yeah, probably not. I don't see Rico, Roman and Lynn watching TT light it up in practice and ALL 3 deciding to not run a lot of PA under center.
  12. Like I said, semantics. Tyrod has not been trusted to turn his back to opposing D's on the PA under center by 3 OC's, which is why they are not called very much. It's speculative, but I imagine that has something to do with 1 less second to process the field, something that TT struggles with even given an unshortened amount of time.
  13. Feel free to waste your time arguing semantics. I was commenting on his body of work, not a handful of plays.
  14. Wilson and to a lesser extent Watson were playing a completely different game compared to Jackson at the college level. If Jackson is our QB4 on our board, I'd rather go up and get 1, 2 or 3 than settle for 4. We can afford it.
  15. Cannon and a playmaker but lacks accuracy, vision, and sound mechanic base. At best, he's a project with a ton of physical talent. At worst, he's an RB playing QB. How many incredibly athletic QB's who struggle with basic passing fundamentals make it in the NFL?
  16. The real KB is a guy who could barely scrape 1000 yards together with Cam Newton throwing him the football. He has a unique skillset, don't get me wrong, but he does have his limitations. I'm not convinced he'll be anything more than the #20ish or lower WR in the NFL.
  17. Ummm, Tyrod barely had any PA passes under center his first two years, and not that many in his third year, to my eye.
  18. One of Tyrod's biggest weaknesses is his inability to execute play action ball fakes under center. It really limits your offense from a misdirection standpoint.
