  1. I just remember Barkley having almost as many passing yards as Josh did in about 12 minutes of play.
  2. Lol, we passed a ton in the first half of the year and all we heard was how Josh isn’t Brady and we need to run more.
  3. Yeah Josh played so bad it made Barkley look okay by comparison, but really he didn’t have a good game.
  4. This is the most important thing. Keeping a loser around for 3 years because of his sunk cost was clearly no more.
  5. If you were a Jags fan, you’d remember going 14-48 under Bradley and say life with St Doug ain’t all that bad.
  6. Half this place wanted him fire too. Really bizarre behavior all around.
  7. Half the starters in the league can’t play mistake free football. Is this thread just repeating cliches to each other?
  8. We know what his coaches at Wyoming were able to do, and it wasn’t super pretty or “studly.”
  9. It absolutely is leaps and bounds. Josh improves in EVERY statistical category. TD%, INT% EVERYTHING. And on the field, he’s much better at staying in the pocket and going through his reads. He made plays over and over again this year that he was incapable of doing last year. You can dislike Dab’s gameplans, but Josh Allen’s improvement under him is obvious.
  10. Josh is ahead of schedule IMO. I said last year if he had a Trubisky type jump or put up a year like Baker’s rookie season, we’d be in great shape.
  11. That’s odd. Are you implying that Taylor passed as much as Josh because the 2017 Bills trailed in more games? Let’s go through that math together. Jets, Bengals, Pats, Dolphins, Eagles, Browns, Cowboys, Ravens, Steelers, Pats were all games we trailed at some point this year. If we count games where the score was tied, that list grows even larger. Is 10 games where we trailed at some point really “rarely” trailing? It looks like an appreciable amount of games to me. Maybe you didnt watch those games though.
  12. I’d love to look at any CB group in the league and what unit wouldn’t look thin with two possible injuries to key contributors. To any position in general either. Imagine Josh Allen hurting his elbow and then Matt Barkley hurting his thumb. Would we hear how we mismanaged the QB position too?
  13. That much worse defense allowed um 6 more points per game. Kind of a meaningful difference in the NFL. Your saying the offense “didn’t ask the QB to make plays” in 2017? And you’re basing that off what, exactly?
  14. A lack of support offensively for Allen, and not TT who was throwing to big fat, Zay Jones, the corpse of Charles Clay and Andre Holmes? TT also dealt with a far worse defense week in and week out, “key scores” aside. Also fun fact, the 2019 Bills had more team rushing yards than the 2017 Bills did. I know I know, no one hit >800, but that’s hard to do when carries are basically split between two guys. And also that’s not a metric that matters. Tyrod sucks but you’re being disingenuous.
  15. Instead of answering the question, you posed another question for a different point than the one I was making. To pretend like I’m claiming that Allen is equally experienced to Fitz is asinine or disingenuous or both. I won’t bother responding to that level of discourse any more. If you’d like to have productive discussions, let’s elevate our game.
  16. Here you go my friend. I think that Fitz COULD have taken this team to the postseason. I think Allen is a better offensive weapon in totality, he’s better at some things than Fitz as a passer and worse than Fitz at others IMO, and I’d much rather have Allen going forward because these are all obvious things. Imagine that. Two separate thoughts in a brain. And it doesn’t mean “hurr durr you’d trade Allen for Fitz?” I will continue to claim that there’s a Josh Allen gas leak because it’s obvious to me. The people who cry about how Josh sucks every week are deranged, but that doesn’t mean you have to join them in the intellectual dumpster. Josh has been pretty hit or miss with the swing pass going back to last year. I’m not sure if the reason they don’t call it often because it doesn’t work that often. Similar to screens. I won’t join you on this strawman branch. You can read the above.
  17. I definitely remember saying I’d rather have Fitz than Allen. You've gotten very strawmanny in your old age bandito.
  18. Fitz winning 5 games with that personnel is great. How many “great” games did Allen have this year?
  19. Fitz just beat the Pats with objectively worse personnel. He also went 5-8 with the worst defense in the NFL. He also has one of the worst rushing offenses in the NFL. Fitz is having a good year.
  20. That really dumb team 11 points away from a SB. Would hate to be in that situation
  21. 19-12 since trading for Mack. Prior to trading for Mack, 8-24. If the first record was a setback, what was the second? A catastrophe?
  22. Cian Fahey hates Josh Allen because he loved Tyrod. He is also probably the biggest joke in the football analyst business.
  23. They do win with their defense! And their offense! Just mostly their defense!
  24. There you go again putting words in my mouth. I never said that the defense is the only reason. I said that they are a primary reason. The defense is clearly better compared to the rest of the NFL than the offense is. The better unit is the one that contributes more to wins. That’s all. Does that mean that if you replace the 2019 Bills offense with the Dolphins offense, we’re still 10-5? Of course not. The defense keeps it close for the majority of the game. They play at a high level for longer and more consistently than the offense does. The offense has some bad moments, but ultimately makes big plays when they have to. I would say 90% of the time, the defense looks great, and maybe 50% of the time, the offense looks great. And in that 50%, it’s a majority of Josh’s play that makes them look great. That’s been our winning formula and I’m happy with it. Especially because the offense wasn’t close to 50% last year and the defense probably wasn’t close to 90% either. It was your inane and arbitrary examples and strange off the wall comparisons that I debated because they were silly on their face. Pointing exclusively to offensive TD’s by one player as an indication of how the offense performs as a whole? Which completely excluded yardage, field position, field goals and TD’s from other players? Stating that the Bills wouldn’t have won any games this year if their offense scored zero points the whole year and that somehow proves something? I said it best earlier. There was a Josh Allen gas leak in here that had you spouting gibberish.
