  1. They didn't throw the ball a lot. They had a great run game and defense. But when they did throw the ball, they were one of the best at it. Thems the facts.
  2. If that was the case, why were they 7th in YPA? Field gets awfully short in the RZ.
  3. They had a great run game no doubt. That doesn't make the passing game awful.
  4. Every team tries to do this though. And their pass game wasn't "awful" when they were contenders. That's a common misconception.
  5. Trade pick #22 for OBJ. Use OBJ in a trade package to move up to #2. ???? Profit.
  6. I'm sure BMarsh wants to spend the twilight years of his playoff-less career with Nate Peterman at QB. Can we get real?
  7. There's no way KB signs for less than $14M AAV. Trust me, I'm never wrong on WR deals.
  8. He'd still cost a 3rd. Sammy Bradford cost a first and we all know how incredible HE is.
  9. I think there's a decent chance KB isn't on our roster this time next year.
  10. The Bills need to be on the phone. We have no WR's and we aren't going to have a shot at any as talented as OBJ in the near future.
  11. I know they put on this dog and pony show to try to misdirect other teams, but does it really matter? 31 NFL GM's KNOW Beane is trying to get into the top 4.
  12. Trade our second rounder in 2019 for him, and go get Rosen. We might win a Super Bowl this year.
  13. He is the only good young skill position player on the Cards right now. He's the exact player you'd want to keep for a young QB like Mayfield. He also isn't worth the drop of 9 picks for the Colts in a "deep RB class," when they have a ton of picks. Bad and unrealistic trade. But whatever, I don't think the Broncos would take Baker, so we're running to the podium for Minkah! Let's go!
  14. David Johnson is not good enough for 15 to 6 but I guess we can't have nice things.
  15. Bucs would be racing to the podium there. Good pick!
  16. Man, being the third best DE in the NFL is basically like being Shaq Lawson.
  17. TRADE ALERT! Broncos trade pick #5 and pick #71 (1,935) to TB for pick #7 and pick #38 (2,020) Bucs on the clock!
  18. I agree except for one little thing. He was not borderline elite. He WAS elite, because he was really good against the run and pass. Peak Mario held the title of best in the league at setting the edge, while, as you said, being third in sacks during that time. He was top 2-3 at his position. That's elite.
  19. What better players would you have rather had that Mario prohibited us from signing?
  20. Horrific take. 1. Mario's contract was not cap prohibitive. 2. He was easily the best player on the team at the time of his signing and probably up til 2015. Our "fourth best defensive lineman" is so ridiculous I almost think you're trolling. 3. How many players had more sacks from 2012-2014 than Mario Williams? 4. His "$100M" contract was the sole largest defensive contract for one year, the year he signed it. Revis, Watt, and etc had all surpassed him by the time he was cut, as is the NFL norm. 5. The dead money was not even close to what happens around the league in bad contracts. Being able to cut Mario for only $7M in dead money when he had hit a wall is the sign of a good contract, not a bad one, to anyone who knows a lick about the NFL. Try again.
  21. Well that's because you are all wrong and have no idea what you're talking about.
