  1. I am still hoping for WR Claypool in the 3rd round to really solve the problem (injuries, special teams, etc.)
  2. Changing footwork, changing mechanics, that always works!
  3. Wouldn't the transition tag be a better option? He might be worth more to us than anyone else.
  4. Golliday has proven he can play in the NFL (under a different system though). However just like rookies haven't proven they can play in the NFL yet, Golliday has not proven he will play hungry after a large contract. There seems to be less risk in drafting a receiver in the first round. Control, financial flexibility, and character fit are all benefits to looking to the draft. Especially with this year's pool. There are also other options out there for a #1b WR like Breshad Perriman who is a FA id you are not interested in using our #1 pick on a WR..
  5. The CBA does not allow it. This feels like confusion between MLB rules vs NFL rules. A player has to be attached like in the Oswheiler deal. This is the same as when posters suggest we trade someone away but agree to pay some of the salary. It does not fly in the NFL but does in baseball
  6. Don't forget Claypool. I am eager to see him. He has the size, catch radius, and competitiveness the Bills are looking for. Just curious if he has the separation. It will be fun to see him catching from big armed QBs
  7. In hindsight was trading Zay Jones (7 TDs with Josh last year) the right move? 3 catches for Foster all season and hardly put Duke on the field. Could Zay have helped down the stretch?
  8. Doesn't the narrative change if Duke Williams holds on to his two as well? You can't play what if and only discuss one side. Those two throws by Josh were not good though.
  9. Deandre Carter has only returned 3 kicks at home all year. Plus 22 punts for a 9.7 yd average. is there risk, sure, but we are going to need more from the #2 WR position to compete
  10. I am new to the start Duke squad but how can you roll Robert Foster out at WR with 3 catches on 18 targets, FOR THE YEAR? How can any defense take him seriously. I know he plays an integral role on special teams but to compete with the top 6 teams in the AFC we are going to need more from that #2 WR position. Isn't that worth the risk on Duke's hands?
  11. I guess it has been so long I forgot that. ? Thanks for pointing it out.
  12. I think we should sign Alex Collins over Gore, he was in for a tryout last week. Now is not the time to get sentimental
  13. No one pays attention to the Buffalo Bills. But they’re back in the playoffs after winning in Pittsburgh. By Mark Maske Dec. 15, 2019 at 9:41 p.m. MST "There aren’t that many people outside Western New York, it seems, who pay much attention to the Buffalo Bills. Not this season. Not this century. Not ever, really" No one pays attention? Then how do you explain the recent TV ratings? The Bills militia stretches across the US and around the world. They can all write this garbage until our playoff run comes to their town!
  14. Let's send this to Judge Kenesaw Mountain Landis for sentencing ?
  15. So he receive one max fine for two missed events? Isn't he getting off 50% easier that what would happen to anyone with a normal job?
  16. Every metric except wins and losses that is ?
  17. I am not sure why we still argue % percentage. Haven't we covered this in a hundred posts before that there is little correlation between completion % and winning?
  18. They are only the same using the cherry picked data Jerry selected.
  19. Maybe Star played OK but to give him credit for yards per carry when he is on the field is a stretch. 11 guys out there. Especially if you are pulling out the 65 yard run. Getting pretty careless with the data, why not just build some graphs to make your point Joe B. Joe B also did not mention Star spinning like a top and running the wrong way to open up a lane for Wentz on 3rd and 5 from deep inside their territory. That play irked me because everyone else stayed home. It was just one play but a big one.
  20. It won't matter what the Bills do to prepare if Belichek is watching them practice. They have been caught before and I THINK they are still doing it one way or another. Belichek is a Navy brat, surveillance is historically the primary Naval strategy isn't it? Run real practices indoors and run fake practices outdoors. That strategy won the Eagles a Superbowl against the Pats.
  21. Spotrac estimates us with $87,148,087 in cap space for 2020. You can't spend all that in one off season. Why are we cutting even average football players to bring in rookies and free agents?
  22. There is a lot of analysis from cover 1 that shows Trent's value and the mistakes made by our rookie DE as far as containment. It is worth a look. It is not all about sacks.
  23. Man this topic went off the rails. What happened to the punt analysis. Why weren't the gunners screaming and yelling for the ball? Who is supposed to make that call besides Bojorquez? I think Bojorquez might have had a bad hold on the missed filed goal to boot ?
  24. Would he tell anyone if he did? Plus who needs analytics when you can just cheat ?
