  1. But then you have a body on the roster doing nothing as the #5 WR. So why?
  2. For those of us out of towners, please do a full tailgate 😁
  3. Sounds like acid reflux
  4. He is saying he should have looked, but isn't he also saying that Poyer wasn't where he expected him to be based on the play call and that the deeper than normal safeties wasn't communicated to him?
  5. Awesome story. Sounds like a great kid. Not a definitive reason to take a back high in the draft though
  6. I am not 100% behind him, but everyone here should go back and watch the KC regular season game. He was great in that game and big part of why we won.
  7. I'm 48 and was a Bills fan growing up like most, instilled by my family. Even though I rooted for them, it felt like my father's team more than my own.....until I attended the Comeback game. That changed everything to a fanatical level. Spending 3 of the 4 Super Bowls years going to school in Boston added fuel as well. FYI it isn't the Pats SB successes that made New Englanders so annoying, they have always been that way. It just made it worse.
  8. Araiza doesn't hold because he kicked FGs as well
  9. The Colts have 41 mil in cap space and need WR and DL help. Osweiler is different, he did not play at all for 16 mil against their cap. Star and Beasley are both capable players who have helped their team get to the playoffs last year. The Colts fell short and could use them both. Hard to pull off, maybe, but Bean could do it. Or maybe Schoen could have
  10. Why not trade Start and a draft pick to a team with space in exchange for a lower round pick? I would have thrown Cole in the mix here as well. These are players that still have value just maybe not at their current number without a kicker.
  11. You forgot defensive call stealing which gave an average QB at the time 3 SBs
  12. Maybe he doesn't want A coaching job, maybe he wants THE coaching job. He has been there before under not ideal conditions so he probably knows. Even though he takes the interviews just to stay in the media spotlight he might not want just any opening.
  13. Wrong. Just plain wrong. Character counts and everything that happens in the dark eventually comes to the light. tick tock tick tock
  14. The greatest cheater in NFL history is finally gone. He was terrible for the game on so many levels. Can we go back to football tackling rules now?
  15. I am stuck inside after having knee surgery but ESPN+ and golf might be my alternative. Can't bear to watch what slipped away especially if Cincy lays an egg.
  16. He hasn't. He lost GM and is just a figurehead now
  17. What if they returned the squib to the 50? Wouldn't we be crushing McD for that? With 13 seconds left the Chiefs would have been holding like crazy and the ref crew for the game throws the least amount of flags in the league
  18. How to stay on topic. You pretty much clarified the reason for my question and then put every donation under the umbrella of the original guy. Well done
  19. I think it is fair to point out that under the circumstances the Chiefs would have been holding like crazy on a kickoff return and the crew that was refereeing throws the least amount of flags in the league. While I do not think this makes a squib or a pooch wrong, there is considerably more risk because of the refs. I don't know what the stats are on how many flags they throw on kickoffs but I bet our SP coach does. No idea whether that was a factor but it is a variable in the decision. As has been said a billion times already, 13, 10, 7 whatever seconds, just play normal defense and we win.
  20. If it were $17 it might be a nice gesture, but $13 feels like shot at us doesn't it?
  21. I was in favor of the touchback. Possibly influenced permanently by the Music City Massacre I was afraid of the big return. Also, if the Chiefs had returned the kick they would have been holding all over the place and this specific referee crew calls the least amount of penalties in the NFL. The fear of the big return was on my mind. Free releases and soft coverage lost the game though IMO
  22. I also like the increased use of McKenzie on jet sweeps for this same reason
  23. "When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us" would be more appropriate considering the weather.
  24. Finally the Titans at home!
  25. I think it says a lot about Mckenzie who was the first guy over to the rookie (according to what I viewed on the coverage) and right in his ear after the fumble. He is a leader and a competitor, give Lil' Dirty his job back.
