For the 2018 Bills, Mack = Mario
buffalostu2 replied to george c's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We don't even have enough cap space to pay Mack's 2018 salary not even considering the extension. We may have guys coming in for workouts but I would guess we don't sign anyone with only 9 mil in space for this season. Figuring in injuries and replacement players that is about the minimum you would go into a season with. Stop shopping at the top and hit the bargain bin for 2018. -
Jalen Ramsey trash talking a lot of QB's
buffalostu2 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only an idiot would judge a superbowl winner by two games in his career. He obviously didn't see Flacco's high point in Denver as I did. Maybe he is not what he was but he still has a ring and earned. What has Ramsey earned? Some writer awards? -
Happy 93rd Birthday Coach Levy!

Somebody has to have a band that can remake this for Marv Also if you haven't read Marv's book you are missing out. -
From sun up til sun up on game days. Hope you can hang. Just make sure after jumping through tables and drinking all those Coors Lights you're not asleep by the 4th quarter like all the other children ? Can we submit past coaches and QBs for that list? Or Patriots players?

Didn't the Bills Mafia organizers try to distance themselves from the table smashing?

We will see how this autograph works out when someone gets paralyzed and sues the Bills. This looks like promoting/encouraging from a legal perspective. Dumb move because it is completely unnecessary.

Do you think the Coach and GM with one year under their belts are prepared to struggle? IMO this kid is going to start from day one and they will yo yo him in and out of the starting role if the O line and WR experiments fail. As Bills fans we know the danger of doing this however 2nd year head coaches and GMs who have already demonstrated the ability to yo yo quarterbacks do not.

There needs to be finer segments for the middle. Mid forties is the dividing line and there is a huge difference between early forties and late forties because the latter was just old enough to see a Superbowl caliber team come together.

[Vague Title] It continues... Josh Allen...

Doesn't Wentz pass this same test? -
Shaq Lawson on roster bubble

He makes it! -
This was the game for me too. At Lodos in downtown Denver, the Bills Backers bar, I was slamming my hand on old banister so hard after the collapse that I am sure I broke my thumb. I never had it X rayed and it went away months and months later but I am pretty sure I did some physical damage. Nothing long term thankfully.

I think it is 50/50 he makes it. 50% he makes the team. 50% he gets traded. 0% he gets cut. -

I think you are correct but look what GM we are talking about. So slow he tied for the team lead in sacks. Hughes is way faster but usually falls into the close but no cigar territory. Even though Hughes does get pressure. -
Sammy Watkins classes it up on his way out of LA

Most effective Red Zone WR in 2017. 7 TDs in 9 targets. and still only 25 years old.. -
Tremaine Edmunds vs Gronk

Good point but you have to like that we could have multiple options to cover him with the way Belicheat works the matchups. -
The common understanding of Analytics is that it is using any and all data. Measuring and grabbing any data point to support an argument and trying to make sense of it is a poor approach. McD has said in interviews that certain data is more important that other data. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black this is what I want to hear from a process oriented coach. McD should be measuring HIS process, and identifying his key performance indicators (key measures). Then executing to drive those key numbers. Based on my limited information on what McD is doing I think the Bills are going about it the correct way. I just would like him to say "our process". It is not as if there are no other coaching processes. Everything is a process even if it is not documented - even Rex and the clowns before him had a processes, just not a good ones.

Rumour: Rosen and Mayfield were off the Bills' Board
buffalostu2 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In a pre draft interview McD said they were doing character and fit evals before play evaluation. That seems crazy out of order. -
There is not proof of a bidding war. That is just Buffalo Bills mentality of filling in blanks to make things look ideal for GM/Coach/Team. There is no guarantee those #2s would pan out so I agree with the trade up. Arizona wanting Allen is speculation only. As for mastered the draft I would not go there. Maybe he did well in the 1st round (if you like Allen) but a backup NT in round 3 was a bad pick and Beane failed to see the pick of Clemson's #1 WR the pick before us when we took their #3 WR as well as the fact that the Lions picked a highly rated OT we needed one pick before us in the 5th round were big time errors.

If the Jets get Rosen tonight, Beane failed

Are you wearing your Cutler or Jeff George jersey today? -
You picked no QB, I know by design, and then selected the fastest deep threat WR in the draft? How do you plan to get him the ball? Is Shady going to run it to him because McCarron isn't getting it there. and no O line help?

Incoming, Speculation 49ers-Pats trade for Rosen.
buffalostu2 replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had this thought this morning as well looking at the trade value chart. We owe the Rams a punch in the nose just for this being a possibility. I am not sure Rosen would be there guy and I hope he is not ours unless he falls all the way to 12. How do you think Belichek would do with a rookie QB who wants every one of his questions answered before he does his job? Also the Pats have holes at QB and CB to fill. Even though the traditional draft chart says they can get to #9 with their first round picks that won't hold up this year. We for one have too much ammo.
