  1. That's another $100 million on the team valuation.
  2. Smith in addition to big contract would cost Bills Woods and Kouandjo. Would you still do it? I go back and forth...
  3. New owner better keep that wallet open for free agency!
  4. But let's face it. If EJ bombs and the Bills go 4-12 but we also get bought by the right owner who makes it clear the Bills are staying for generations, the season will have been a rousing success.
  5. Very good. I'm at ease on this topic. EJ is a different story.
  6. now when you say long-term, is that 2020? After 2020?
  7. One write-in vote for Billy Joe Hobert here.
  8. So having EJ and absolutely no one else behind him is a great plan, but New England is playing with fire. Got it.
  9. they have a 2nd round pick behind him now, right? You could do worse for a backup plan.
  10. OK that's a cheap dig, but I still think he's unfit for the NFL. As JR noted above, bad arm, bad decisionmaking is NOT a good combination.
  11. There might be some decent veteran options this coming offseason. I could see Eli Manning possibly being available, to give one example.
  12. He needs more experience at D-1 level, seeing as how he won four games in 26 starts there.
  13. Agreed. You'd think they'd have taken him out the first eight times CIN ran that play to great success.
  14. Bingo. People say the value of an NFL team can only go up. People used to say the same things about houses, And now?
  15. JW, are you sure no one said that about Brees? He had some dark, dark moments in SD before the light went on....
  16. I hope this is sarcastic. Kolb 28 career TDs, Sanchez 68.
  17. Chip Kelly, who clearly knows a thing or two about quarterback play, thinks otherwise.
  18. And who did I forget? Losman? Trentative? Fitz?
  19. Sanchez is better than every single QB the Bills have trotted out since Bledsoe (and that goes for EJ until he proves otherwise). Just my opinion.
  20. The only preseason game I got to watch last year was the Redskins game, and Tuel played nearly the entire game and was horrendous.
  21. I'd prefer Billy Joe Hobert to these two.
  22. Your point is well taken, but it wasn't just one horrible throw from JT---that Cleveland game was a nightmare once he came in (and yes, being asked to come in cold off the bench is part of the deal for backups).
  23. I still think Cordy is coming back, but if he doesn't we are completely screwed.
