    I remember this game last year was completely unwatchable (Dallas vs Miami) so I will be sure not to freak out as long as nobody gets injured.

    All very good points Hplarrm, and you didn't even mention the part when Trump was a USFL owner and SUED the NFL and tried to drive them out of business (failing spectacularly of course). I bet some owners still remember that.

    They were epically terrible last year and have already lost Sean Lee and DeMarcus Ware. Awful.

    Absolutely. First of all, it takes two to tango, and who says Fitz wants to stay as a backup. He's a human being with pride, not a robot. Secondly, the locker room responds to salary. You can't retain a backup at $7 mil, have a rookie on a rookie contract as the "unquestioned starter" and not have the locker room take notice.

    so excited to see Mr. Watkins in action. I'm always excited when football comes back but this just feels different with this guy.

    All of this is true, but is it a chicken and egg thing? Do good teams injure the other team, and do bad teams get injured?

    luckily for him he has signed a huge contract which is guaranteed in the NBA and should be just fine financially. Still really sucks for him and everyone really, but if this were football he'd be SOL.

    definitely. and if the NFLPA is upset about what you suggest, then let them file a grievance and explain to the public why wife beaters should get off easy.

    I think they'd be absolutely nuts to cut Easley considering how awful the STs were last year. Getting rid of our best gunner doesn't seem like the hottest idea to me. I hope Easley is ahead of both of these guys.

    Dennis Allen would be my choice. Garrett is not likely at all to be fired IMO. Jerruh likes having him as head coach because he lets Jerruh meddle to his heart's content. Much better than the gloomy Parcells days when he won 14 games in JJ's world.
