  1. Gundlach has absolutely cleaned up this year in the markets. I think that estimate might just be a little out of date. No way he's as rich as Terry but he still might be able to put together a good bid. We'll see.
  2. What makes you say that? He's local and has gone on record saying he wants to buy the team because he loves the Buffalo Bills. I also think he's damn good at his day job.
  3. Tim Graham ‏@ByTimGraham 9s Smart money is that Jim Kelly is aligned with bond investor Jeffrey Gundlach. I'm telling you guys, Gundlach is not as well known as Pegula, but we'd be very lucky to have him.
  4. This is the front page of this morning's NY Post: http://nypost.com/cover/
  5. Wow. Kudos to John if you're reading this.
  6. Yup. To answer questions 2 and 3, NFL players on the London/Toronto team would owe taxes to BOTH governments, and in England at least it is famously difficult for foreign workers to get work permits. Also, relocating to another country might cause legal issues with the league's antitrust exemption, aka their Golden Goose. Also players have already publicly said "hell no" to the idea of playing in London for a whole bunch of other reasons. It's just a really dumb idea all around.
  7. I subscribe to that idea. I also subscribe to the idea that Bon Jovi is a sore loser to go along with a 3rd rate musician and a treacherous slimeball.
  8. "It was not known by late Wednesday afternoon whether the trust running the sale and its transaction team deemed the bid satisfactory, in order to advance the group to the sale's final phase." Also suggests late August is when binding bids will be submitted. Valuable info from Kryk as always. In fact if you read the whole story is sounds like there's even less to worry about than we thought.
  9. Since you asked: Sal Maiorana ‏@salmaiorana 16s Welcome back Doug Marrone, we missed you. #bills coach much more engaging today than he's been. Thoughtful, cooperative, friendly.
  10. John Wawrow ‏@john_wawrow 14s Now this: EJ overthrows wide open Mike Williams in end zone. Next play scrambles and forces throw to Chandler that's picked. #BillsCamp
  11. Chandler is horrendous. I still have not gotten over the ATL game from last year.
  12. Sal Maiorana ‏@salmaiorana 40s Scott chandler is not going to enjoy watching the film of this practice. Three drops that I've seen
  13. He did it! Sal said something nice. Sal Maiorana ‏@salmaiorana 33s Watching Sammy Watkins pluck balls out of the air is a thing of beauty. What a pair of mitts on that guy. #bills
  14. I'm starting to buy the "discipline" theory for Hogan's working with the 1s
  15. I thought someone said his family is expecting a baby?
  16. bidders have to see the books before they can submit a binding bid. Reviewing the books of a billion dollar enterprise takes time. Everything is fine.
  17. He also says that people who say Geno sucks are only looking at stats. I saw plenty of Geno last year and........he sucks.
  18. John Wawrow ‏@john_wawrow 1m Have confirmed that #Bills coach Marrone's terseness was a result of lingering frustrations over preseason-opening loss. End of story.
  19. Would put Gundlach, who is much younger than Golisano (55 years old), in prime position to own the team later. Just speculating but could be a nice fallback if Pegula somehow doesn't work out.
  20. that's true. Those guys are seeing their bonus flash before their eyes, hence all of this talk about new entrants/resubmissions.
  21. That's going to cost him half.
  22. As crazy as this might sound this is not all that large of a deal for Morgan Stanley. They certainly would like good publicity but I doubt anyone but Bills/Buffalo diehards are following this deal too closely on a day to day basis.
  23. and wouldn't that be quite the turn of events for this organization.
  24. I hope so, since as far as I know he still doesn't have an agent.
