  1. John Kryk ‏@JohnKryk 34s A spokesman for reported #Bills suitor Jeffrey Gundlach's DoubleLine Capital just told me: "The only thing I can say is, 'Go #Bills!'"
  2. Aquilini, like absolutely nobody predicted: http://bills.buffalonews.com/2014/08/08/nhl-owner-nba-founder-among-signed-bills-nondisclosure-agreement-hyatt-hotel-heirs-sniffing-around/
  3. Tim Graham ‏@ByTimGraham 55s And, no, the NHL owner is not named Pegula. Jeremy Jacobs?
  4. Well he would fail at A C and D, and would probably fail at B.
  5. Well, in that case I guess we'd just have to miss the playoffs.
  6. Does anyone actually doubt the league office favors some teams over others? Examples: "just give it to them' game, Goodell reportedly telling Vick not to sign here, etc etc.
  7. Spiller for a decent linebacker? Would anyone be interested in that?
  8. Florio takes dictation from the league office.
  9. The quotes from irate anonymous team officials suggest otherwise.
  10. According to Jason La Canfora, yes: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-la-canfora/24652025/is-this-the-nfl-ref-czar-on-cowboys-party-bus-irate-nfl-execs-say-yes Shady, shady shady.
  11. It sure did. And supposedly he's some genius whose skills shouldn't be underestimated!
  12. Exactly and you'd think people would be relieved to hear there are backup options intent on keeping the team here, but I learn something new every day.
  13. I thought he did better against the tough comp last year. His two worst games by far were against Pitt and Tampa Bay.
  14. The only reason we know the team is for sale is because RW passed. When Haslam was announced as the buyer of the Browns it was not public knowledge that the team was for sale.
  15. That's true, and I would not be excited if he was the one making final decisions on player evaluations. But as a head of organization type? Sure.
  16. I don't think he's ever worked on the management side, but I think a top agent (and he is top notch) is a legitimate qualification for this job. The Phoenix Suns hired Lon Babby to be their president I believe.
  17. Tim Graham ‏@ByTimGraham 9s Don't know order, but Bills' trust scheduled meetings with prospective bidders: 1 yesterday, 1 today, 4 next week, maybe 2 week after next.
  18. I suppose people will still doubt him in the absence of legal paperwork (and I get that, honestly), but these comments from 2011 make me rest easier, personally: "One of these days, maybe five years from now -- I hope it's 20 years from now -- the Bills will have to have an ownership change," Gundlach said in a followup interview with Channel 7. "I think it would be a tragedy to have the Bills go to some random city and be called, you know, the L.A. Multitude or whatever the hell they'd call it. I want them to be the Buffalo Bills. I want Buffalo to receive a championship one of these days." http://bills.buffalonews.com/2014/07/09/sources-jeffrey-gundlach-exploring-bills-purchase-approached-jim-kelly/
  19. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, snap!
  20. Well those are real issues, but consider what the NFL has let Haslam, Wilf, Jerry Jones, Jim Irsay get away with. One thing I can guarantee you about Jeff Gundlach is that he will not accept losing. By the way I would be just as happy with Pegula, so forgive me if this comes across as shilling.
  21. That's it? Sorry you had a bad experience with one.
  22. That's what he said in public. I find it hard to believe he actually thought JP was any good in private, for instance.
  23. The fact that he has all this extra cash doesn't mean Pegula is willing to pay above a certain price for the team. He certainly didn't get to this point in his life by overbidding for assets he wanted. And really, Terry's money is ours now?
