    I agree with what you're saying, but just pointing out Smith was not a FA. KC had to trade 2 2nd rounders to get him. Which is still worth it to get the QB position solved.

    I like EJ a lot, but I still cringed when I watched him play and when I listened to his press conferences ("my accuracy was fine" after the Chargers game comes to mind).

    That was the case against SD as well. I had great seats and it was plain as day. Playcalling can't be the problem if guys are getting open.
