His season: 1 turnover forced, one team victory with him on the field, 2 surgeries. $28 million guaranteed. Kiko is on a rookie contract and gave his team great production. Byrd hasn't given the Saints squat. What does "once soever" mean?

It's his second surgery since he signed in NO. Hard to see how he's worth the huge contract now.

That sort of comment doesn't exactly help our karma out.

He looks just fine to me. Best QB we've had in a long time (not saying much obviously).

Between tricking Jerrah into paying his bonus money, signing a lucrative new contract after getting to skip training camp, and winding up with the starting job before week 5, I'm starting to think Orton is a pretty smart guy. At the very least he's got a good agent.

You had to read between the lines, but his take on the quarterback situation was posted here in August and seems quite prescient in hindsight.

He's simply pointing out the obvious. This will be a non issue by the first time Orton completes a pass more than 10 yards down the field.

Well, that's not dramatic or anything.

And to think 80% of people here said they wanted EJ over Orton after the Chargers game.
