    Good point. None of this is easy to sort out, and it's absolutely imperative that teams get it right.

    Nothing you wrote is inaccurate, but it also must be noted that the rules have gotten much easier for passing the football within the last few years. Brees Rodgers and even Stafford had it tougher than the more recent guys.

    Jets thought they got the best QB available. The real shocker from yesterday IMO was how bad Vick looked in relief.

    They shouldn't give up on Geno, simply because Vick got a chance yesterday and was just as atrocious as Smith.

    That's a pretty good recap. I took a shot of jack right when the game started and watched the first quarter with a bitter whiskey face. It was fitting.
