….and studying the other teams plays that blew onto the field. 😂 He just looked like he was having fun out there, when he was healthy. I hope he can get back to his old form in time. Bad breaks for the poor guy.

Someone started a thread about something I generally just ignore. If I called out everything on this board there would be no time to talk about the Bills.

Sadly, I don’t think that is going to be possible. He got ragged on quite a bit in the early days, but I like his contributions. Someone with more cap space probably will too.

Do your low standards also apply to the Bills performance? Or do you want it both ways? It’s not about being stuck up, it’s about knowing the difference. I almost always just ignore that stuff here, but if someone is sensitive about it, maybe that says something? 🤷‍♂️ I’m just funny about that stuff. If I see I’ve made a typo, I’ll generally fix it. It bothers me, personally. If other people don’t care, that is their prerogative. I’m sensing a pop quiz in our future. .

The “highlights” may last longer than some of his old fights. The guy next door would get the PPV and we’d all settle in to watch the fight. Wander off to the kitchen or the can at the wrong time and you could miss the whole thing!

In high school the kid across the street had a chihuahua. It fell off his couch, broke its neck and died. Fragile little nasty monster, that one was. I was not heartbroken.

P.S. - It was a close vote, and I was on your side. 😋 That stuff really does annoy me more than it should. I tend to give more weight to people’s ideas if they have at least a basic grasp of the language.

I’d buy a shirt even if I couldn’t make it. A dinner cruise would be interesting. It’s been a long time and I wish I knew the area better to have suggestions.

But, we are using our words! Nobody has been bit. Yet. I mentioned earlier I worked with a guy who seemed normal enough, until he started talking about his dog. He told me “I like to see fear in a grown man’s eyes.” Um, excuse me??? I don’t know about the dog, but that is a guy who has a dog for all the wrong reasons. I’ve been bit by a dog once in my life. A friend’s little Schnauzer jumped up and broke the skin on my thigh thru my pants. I was not in fear for my life, but I did consider launching it off the 8th floor balcony. It’s not about how sweet an animal can be, you also have to consider how lethal it can be. If the Schnauzer goes wild, I’ll be OK.

I loved the Braves…….but they moved. (You might have heard.) I enjoyed the Bird/Magic era and watching Jordan, but my interest has waned to right about zero now. IF I had a favorite team, it was probably the Celtics who knocked us out of the playoffs regularly. Go figure. When they talk NBA now, I listen to music. I don’t even watch the Finals. They ticked me off by coasting thru regular season games we paid a fortune to attend with our kids. My son turned to me and said “They’re not even trying!” Yep. My son was a very good little baseball player. They called after one season and asked if he wanted to play 2nd base and be leadoff hitter on the All-Star team. He said “Do I have to? Half the guys are just standing around, and the other half are sitting.” That was music to my ears! From the mouthes of babes. I’m pretty much just a Bills fan, and I enjoy my college hoops team. My son went to FSU and his wife went to UGA, so I watch a good bit of them too living in Atlanta. .

Mello Yello! I hadn’t thought of that in forever. I guess that was the predecessor to the devil’s juice we call Mountain Dew. Getting kids addicted to sugar while creating the hand habit is brilliant yet evil marketing. Anything for a buck!

I’m also uncertain about how I feel about the Christmas presents I’m going to find under the tree this year. It’s just a bit too early to say. 🤷‍♂️ Obviously we all want the team to be better, but we will have to wait and see what happens before I can even venture a guess. I do expect Beane to fill almost every void in FA so we don’t go into the draft desperate at any position. That’s how he rolls, so I’m eager to see what we look like after all that takes place. Yes, I expect you will. 😋
