  1. If you have a passport, is Niagara-on-the-Lake worth the visit? I had a friend in FL who went to visit, and I had to admit I had never been there. He had very positive comments. .
  2. It’s funny, I started out watching it a little in the beginning. I lost interest but loved the nature scenes, so I’d stop and watch just a bit once in a while when it was on. I’d just watch a few minutes of nature and wonder “how the hell has this happened with these people?” Every time! 😂
  3. Would you have loved the associated tax/PSL/ST cost increases? It’s always been a balancing act, and we can’t have it both ways. I generally come to one early season home game, so it’s no big deal to me. One game is not a huge commitment, but multiply by a season and it’s real money. I want to be comfortable late in the season, but how much more am I willing to pay? How about everybody around me? We all have different thresholds. It’s a tricky balancing act.
  4. Gee, that’s not the way I remember it at all. The Vikings have the most interesting looking stadium in the league to me. It’s the one I would most want to see. ATL does nothing for me, despite the “dome”. There are a few other interesting ones out there, but let’s not forget that they are just football stadiums. I’ll wait to see it done before ridiculing it. That seems reasonable IMO.
  5. It’s obviously in the eye of the beholder, but I thought Tottenham was pretty cool. Part of that was the surrounding area, but I had no complaints within that stadium itself other than they could produce and sell beer at a stunningly slow rate. Who thought filling a cup from the bottom was a good idea? They sell beer with a hole in the bottom! They drip, so they have to pour them from the cup that got filled into a cup that had never had its bottom perforated. I have a 27 second video with 8 concessions people managing to sell about 4-5 beers to people in a line a mile long! 😡 Sorry, but I saw much of the 2nd quarter on the phone of some lady in line with me. At least now I can laugh about it. Rant over. I liked the stadium. I was in the bottom of the upper bowl. I should have gone to the top to see if I got vertigo. I hope the upper deck isn’t too treacherous. Go with your gut reaction, that is usually correct.
  6. Well, you are. The rest of us don’t actually exist. 😊 .
  7. I think we stand pat as well, and if we DO move I could see going back a few spots like we did last year. I’m too lazy to look it up at the moment, but what would it take to get back into the 3rd round?
  8. Thursday, April 3? Even the tweet was on April 2…..I had to go back and look.
  9. Thanksgiving happens on a Thursday EVERY YEAR. I don’t love Thursday games, but they are doable. The 25th of December can fall on any day of the week, and this is just one more stupid idea to make more money.
  10. So, this is what I’m missing because I avoid ESPN? I can live without garbage like this.
  11. Well, that was a hurtful thing to do. 😂
  12. I understand your frustration, and I would have acquitted you on all charges when you stole those plates. I think you should have been commended for leaving the car.
  13. You mean……number seven?
  14. I don’t know enough to have a strong opinion about OP, but you just jogged a memory of going to a football museum in Green Bay with my sister a few years ago. I thought it was going to be hokey, but I look back on that fondly now.
  15. I have to admit, the start of baseball season kind of bums me out. I enjoy the restaurants and entertainment at The Battery in Atlanta, where the Braves play. I have to check the Braves schedule now before I can go there for lunch. It’s awesome with hotels, retail, countless restaurants, theaters, etc. My son will start working out of there as soon as their office is completed. Sorry, I just really like the Battery, and I’ve walked home before (thank you, Uber) so it’s not too far from home. Can OP support a smaller version of that? I have no idea. I think it would be great if it’s viable.
  16. My sister lives in nearby Appleton and they keep asking if I’m coming for the draft. I am not, but I did stay with them the last time the Bills played up there so it was nice to ask. They have extra rooms and thought it was something I’d love and space is clearly at a premium. But the draft is not really my thing, especially in GB. They tell me they will be using parks to house people in RV’s and tents, but there may be snow on the ground. I’d rather attend the draft in Green Bay than sleep on the ground when it’s covered with snow, but I’m good with neither. I have no idea how equipped WNY is to handle a thing like that. I’ve been gone far too long to have an opinion. .
  17. Gee! That really makes me want to check it out! 😂 Somehow that is one my wife got into and somehow I did not. Maybe it’s what she does when I watch too much sports? 🤷‍♂️ .
  18. My wife plowed thru Adolescence in an afternoon. The way she described it made it sound a bit disturbing, so I’ve opted for other things so far.
  19. I no longer watch any NBA, even the Finals, and I change the channel when the NBA becomes the topic. NIL and the transfer portal have me sitting on the edge as far as college hoops goes. It doesn’t bother me when I miss seeing my team play a game. I no longer travel to see them play. My interest is rapidly waning. As for the NFL, I’m not just disinterested, I’m a little bit angry. I don’t watch much NFL other than the Bills. My tolerance for their greed has limits.
  20. That will make the beer feel more affordable. I like it.
  21. https://apple.news/AZcX-EViHSj67Lmc9oYyL8Q “Michael Biehn said his co-star dove so deeply into his character as Doc Holliday that Val Kilmer ceased to exist. "People ask me what it's like to work with Val Kilmer. I don't know. Never met him. Never shook his hand. I know Doc Holliday, but I don't know Kilmer."”
  22. Have you tried therapy? 😊 Honestly, I try to get to town once a year, and if it worked I’d love to see it.
  23. How often do you play? What kind of venues? And all the other obvious questions. Congrats!
  24. ….and by a little, we mean many million$. I hope they can close the gap to an acceptable level. We need guys who can score from anywhere.
  25. Why does Norm from Cheers come to mind when I think of how the numbers could be skewed??? 🍺 🍻 🍺 We loved that show. It was part of Thursday Taco Night when we were first married. .
