  1. I don’t know if he can play football, but he’s right about cats. 😋 These are the types of signings I expect. Fill holes inexpensively before the draft.
  2. If Thurman can do it, why not? Whatever.
  3. I’m not going back to look, but even he said basically this doesn’t mean anything or have any practical application.
  4. Irrelevant to the topic (or much of anything else, as he admitted), party trick for geeks kinda math, but it is indeed math. No denying that.
  5. I’m afraid the geekiness starts well before that mark….and just won’t STOP! 😂
  6. Math? At the 25:22 mark? That was a picture of some stars, but we knew they were out there already. I think you tried to bore me to death!!! 😂 .
  7. We attended a MLB baseball game in Toronto a week after an….incident. There was a hotel attached with rooms that look down onto the field. Apparently a couple didn’t think people in the stadium could see clearly into their room. Or maybe they did??? 🤷‍♂️ My buddy who lived there at the time said it even made the newspaper with a blurry photo. Ooops!
  8. Thanks, but don’t worry about it. I restarted everything and it seems to be gone for now.
  9. IDK, It worked when I clicked on it, but now it pops up on my screen every time I open it up. 🤷‍♂️
  10. There are name tags available, and @Gugny is everywhere! Everybody wants to be that guy! Well, at least @boyst does for some reason. 🤷‍♂️ Why is it popping up on the front of my iPad before I even wake it up? What kind of insidious plot have you hatched here?
  11. I would have not played for Denver for substantially less.
  12. Hmmm, we may have found the problem.
  13. ….and, about right to me. For a while there it felt like the next QB up for a deal set a new bar. That’s not good if actual talent is not taken into account. NEXT does not have to mean better or more. I bet they wish they could have a do-over on the Daniel Jones deal.
  14. I think 40 years of wandering would be a good start. They made their deal with the devil, and that comes with a price. .
  15. I didn’t even know the Kardashians had a program. Now that I know, I will continue to avoid them at all costs. I thought they just polluted the checkout line at the grocery store. I don’t get being famous for being famous. What is your contribution? I knew Curb You Enthusiasm was a show, but I’ve never seen even a minute of it. I’ve never watched Breaking Bad, and I heard a LOT about The Sopranos without ever seeing any of it. Is Danny Devito in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia? I enjoy him, but I’ve never seen the show. On a related note, how is it that Colin Cowherd has never seen Remember The Titans? That feels like a job requirement. .
  16. Do you hear many voices, or just that one? It could make a difference.
  17. I look at this and laugh at what is available these days. I remember going back to Buffalo for a game decades ago and hitting a convenience store for a water straight from the airport. They had one of those old “preseason football special” magazines that has basically the same content everywhere, but they added an article about your team and put them on the cover. I thought I had won the lottery. Times have changed a bit. .
  18. It’s odd, and also a bit curious, but I’ve never seen a single episode. I don’t know how I’ve never checked it out. 🤷‍♂️
  19. I realize that $20 million sounds like a lot, and it is. But do the math and you realize it’s a rather paltry return on a $1.4 BILLION investment. I can do better in a checking account. Their operating profits are significant but not outrageous. The real ROI comes from the appreciation of the franchise. The “how much is too much” argument only seems to apply when other people are making money. .
  20. I have a wall with nine matted and framed game-day program covers from the early 60’s. That is definitely the highlight, but I have a couple Super Bowl seat cushions and some other stuff. People find me easy to get gifts for, apparently.
  21. They are the new Patriots*? 🤷‍♂️
  22. So, he’s not quitting? 😋 I’m sure it’s not too pricey, so this is good with me. We need to keep some familiar bodies around.
  23. “For those of us who believe in physics, the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." Albert Einstein
  24. I think that is much more true here than in the media.
