  1. Are we discriminating against Zombie movies here? Because I don’t watch either. When did that become “a thing”? EDIT: Of course except for Young Frankenstein, which was hilarious. .
  2. I have to disagree, to some extent. St Patricks Day is the only day of the year you get to listen to live bands along the River in Savannah while wading thru streets flowing with vomit and urine from the porta-potties that had been overflowing since noon. The sweet smell of celebration! You can’t get that every day! ….unless you live in New Orlean. 😂
  3. We should give the guy a break. It’s not like he said he doesn’t BELIEVE in soup. THAT would be crazy. Still, I love soups, so I don’t think we will be able to be friends.
  4. I’ll give you that one, but I need to be graded on a curve. The wife is away, and I have the son’s dog on top of my two. Our puppy loves having a fresh victim. I may have self-medicated a bit. 🤷‍♂️ In case this could in the future be held against me, I was kidding, of course.
  5. I have a buddy that size. He has back problems. 😋 But I’d never want to line up across from him. If he just fell on me once it would be a nightmare. .
  6. The only surprise will be when I find out who this guy is and if I should be thrilled or angry.
  7. He’s made about $7.5 Mil for mostly playing catch and holding a clipboard. Genius indeed!
  8. There is a HUGE difference in quality from PT to PT, but I don’t think insurance has anything to do with it. When my son tore his ACL we went to the PT the local surgeons recommended. They actually set him way back by treating him like an old lady rather than a 16 year old athlete. We elected to take him out of state for surgery (Steadman-Hawkins) but first we had to find a serious PT who could help him regain quad strength he had lost already because he was babied. Pain equals progress in a situation like that, I’m afraid. We had a good chiropractor in FL. He didn’t push more sessions on you, and he really did help to some degree. The problem is, if you adjust but don’t loosen the surrounding muscles you just get pulled back out of place. We found deep tissue massage to be more helpful than the chiropractor. Just my two cents. Hope that is helpful. Good luck! EDIT: I just noticed @muppy was looking for the super smart people. I apologize that you got us instead. 😋 .
  9. The 6th round should be devoted to depth at long snapper. I think that is pretty obvious.
  10. My wife asked a lovely guide why we saw virtually no overweight people in Paris last spring. She said “look around, what are we doing? What is everyone doing? We are walking or biking everywhere.” Seattle and areas with more educational and financial success seem to do better in general. My bottom line - Pizza, wings and Beef On Weck can’t be all that bad for you! 😋 .
  11. That’s why we draft some more! Just like DB’s, you can never have enough because they are always dinged! Or, is that just us? It sure feels that way sometimes, but it should even out over time. Our time is yet to come!
  12. Beane just signs them, he’s not in charge of hype. That is left to others, and sometimes they go too far. .
  13. Is this like looking for a Waldo, who can also anchor as a NT or 1T? At a quick glance it appears to be regional, but I think it’s actually a lot more socio-economic when you keep reading.
  14. Since I live in ATL, I’ll hope they do well and are at least interesting. Nobody cares much about the Falcons since it’s not college football, the main game in any town in the South. Still, it will make a few people happy and be a nice story.
  15. Should we leave some roster spots open? Would that make you happier? They are doing what they do every year at this time, filling holes before the draft. They are not going to be All Pros, but every roster has guys like this. We don’t play a meaningful game until next fall. A lot will happen before then.
  16. But, does he believe in space, and planets and stuff??? I think that would be a good start.
  17. He looks like a guy who would go to the HOF with Brady throwing to him.
  18. Living in Atlanta and with a UGA DIL, I’ve seen quite a bit of McConkey too. He just looks like….a football player. He’s gritty and smart, and fun to watch. I know he measures close to some of the bigger outside guys, but he doesn’t look it to me for some reason.
  19. I’m guessing he won’t go hungry after missing a year for betting $1,500.
  20. You’d think those guys would try to figure out how to add value in some way on ST. Do they just not have the physical traits to contribute? Is it “I never had to do that before”? I’d be doing everything in my power to make my NFL experience last a few more years to set me up for life.
  21. Didn’t he get caught up in the number of times you could be elevated to the roster or something like that, and we were absolutely desperate for DB’s on the roster due to injury. I don’t remember the details, but it seems like we were between a rock and a hard place.
  22. I wonder if the people in Miami will help him plow/shovel out his driveway so he can make it to the stadium for a game. They are not as dedicated as we are. I don’t think any of them would go that far.
  23. His success could be measured in the form of $14.5 million dollars. That’s pretty darn successful! 😋 But yes, scheme is so important and you had better be a good fit.
  24. I’d prefer to get younger and cheaper. Oh, and hopefully healthier.
  25. I don’t know if he can play football, but he’s right about cats. 😋 These are the types of signings I expect. Fill holes inexpensively before the draft.
