A simple “let me know if you have any questions” is appropriate. You were not ignored, but it wasn’t pushy. My wife was upset when every guy or couple at one dealership were greeted promptly, and they ignored the single woman repeatedly when she wanted their attention. Always greet.

Oh boy, @4merper4mer is not going to like this!!!

Huge fan of Toyotas! I have a 2014 Avalon and had Camrys before that. My wife’s cousin has a car dealership where he fixes up used cars then sells and finances them for people who need it. The money is in the financing. He says he’s a bank for people who need a car. My wife uses info from him when she faces the car dealership. Anyway, with my son looking for more space my wife asked her cousin what he’d recommend and his response was “Toyota, Toyota, Toyota.”

I believe we had TWO Odyssey’s, and they were great. My wife LOVED them. One got T-boned and she went right out and got another. You had plenty of room and you can even put the kids so they can’t even touch each other as they get older. There was sort of a “bucket”, for lack of a better term, in the way back so stuff was held in place as I recall. That was many, many moons ago.

My wife and I are putting her soul cat of 17 years down today.

Beautiful how that worked out. Before our puppy was ready for pickup we had a working name of Bella, but were hoping to find something more inspired during a trip to Italy. The closest we came to an inspired name was my wife’s obsession with Gelato, but I was able to shut that down. It would have been the only dog named Gelato that I’ve ever met, so there’s that. Good luck over the next few days, they are always the hardest as you get used to the void. -
I had a salesman come up to me when I pulled in a lot and before both of my feet hit the pavement he asked “so, is that the one you’re trading in?” Both feet back in the car and I drove away. Maybe some people like or at least tolerate that, but I don’t appreciate the pushy approach.

Losing a pet is one of the hardest things you will ever do. It was a great ride, enjoy the many wonderful memories. We have a puppy also named Bella. My wife thinks we should change her name to BellaNO because that’s all she hears around the house. It’s maddening now, but one day we will miss her dearly. It’s part of the deal. -
Fire McD and Hire Belichek after we lose AGAIN in the playoffs

Whose respect are you looking for? The media? Part-time casual fans? Zero question the players respect McD. Players hated Belichick. -

Please don’t speak for “the rest of us.” That is never good, as it seems to draw a line between fans. Divisiveness is never good. Every fan base ***** about their coach. Most would love to trade with us. He didn’t win the Super Bowl yesterday, so he must go. This is crazy talk to me. If you don’t think he’s improved I don’t know what to tell you. I see it differently. Not perfect by any means, but getting better, and nobody new is a sure thing. In fact, the odds are not good that a new coach can do as well as McD has over recent years. -
Of course, but that affects every kicker, and player for that matter. But I’ll take a weather miss over the yips 100% of the time.
-
Kickers are like golfers. They don’t forget how, but they need a confident mindset. I pray he’s got that back, and it’s looking positive.

How about a flick with your pinky? I would pass on my wool socks rather than endure a pinky flick. No gift is the best gift sometimes.
-
Wool socks. My SIL gives them, and I thought it was stupid at first. I was wrong! PERFECT for a Bills fan! Oh, wait. You mean from the Bills? Silly, how would they know your size.

Thanks, because I couldn’t come up with any plausible explanation. Now it makes some sense. -

Do you think he’s better at his job now than he was when he arrived at the Bills? -

A friend was moving out of town and came to visit one day bearing a never been used electric wok as a housewarming gift for us/parting gift for him. If I wanted a wok, it would NOT have been this little piece of crap. He’d had it unused in a cabinet for 20 years and never used it once. (Gee! That great, huh?) I thanked him kindly for the gift, smiled and changed the subject. The next time he comes over he brings the connection cord that goes with it, I just put it on the counter, and he gave me a curious stare. I had to explain to him that the reason I couldn’t put the cord with the wok is that I already took the wok to GoodWill! 😂 At least the cord fit in the trash. Free samples place??? I am shameless in a food court. -

Carry on with Over Reaction Monday, though I realize this is different. We win so much this hatred gets bottled up then finally gets released like a volcano popping off. . -

The whole “13 seconds” thing was then. This is now. People who can’t get over that may need therapy. We can all get better at our jobs over time. -

It’s hard to vent like that after we win, isn’t it? Thank goodness we do it more than any other team in professional sports not named the Chiefs. McD has us close to the promised land but can’t get to or over the finish line, yet. Your answer is to tear it down and do a “massive overhaul” because you want so badly to get rid of McD. Again, we just disagree. I. Feel good about where I stand here. -

There will certainly be SOME upheaval, all for a gamble on a new HC. How many HC hires are ultimately successful? How many will out-perform McD’ production over the last 5 years? The odds are pretty long there, imo. Everybody loves Ben Johnson, but I’ve heard people questioning if he’s really HC material. I prefer the devil (according to some) that we know. I believe McD a better HC now than he was 5 years ago. I’d like that to continue. Even little improvements now may get us over the top. You’re willing to throw that away on a gamble for a new guy, I disagree. 🤷♂️ -

Anyone who comes in will shuffle the deck to some degree. We will need to rebuild to a significant degree. How many times have we seen that? Different schemes require different skill sets. We automatically create some holes in our roster, because we are built to do what we do. It’s not nearly as simple as getting into the driver seat of the same car. Offensive and defensive schemes will change. Don’t kid yourself, that’s how it works every time. I’m not saying another coach couldn’t succeed. We obviously have Josh and a lot of talent, but don’t underestimate the upheaval. It’s a serious gamble, and we are already one of the best teams in the league. It was an ugly loss, but I’m not losing my mind over it like so many people do. We are still in this! -

It would take a lot to get me to stop following the Bills. Obviously, if they left WNY I’d be on my merry way. Probably second on that list would be hiring Belichick. You don’t start building anything by hiring a HC who will be 73 years old next season. I don’t hate him as a coach as much as I’d hate the decision to bring in a guy for one or two seasons. He just wants to catch Shula. That would be an idiotic decision by the owners, and I’d look at them in a different light (not in a good way). IF we were to hire someone, I’d want them to be younger, have a better concept of offensive football and not be a complete idiot when it came to personnel issues. He can coach defense, but he was one of the worst Co-GMs (along with his dog) in the league. -
I’ll take cover now…..
