Coaches are heavily implying that Coleman isn’t trying on the field

That’s what you do when that’s all you got….. -
There were times early when I thought Special Teams might be the only thing we would win. They won comfortably, but it didn’t make me feel any better about things (short term). My wife agreed and said it out loud before I could. She used to just watch politely, but 40 years of this has made her one of us. But those returns were like that drive you crushed off the 17th tee that keeps your spirits up and keeps you coming back. Let the leaves in the yard wait. There was no genius to it. Guys can miss a lane sometimes, but generally there is somewhere to go, or there is not. There are a lot of guys running and crashing out there, and I’m just praying OUR guys don’t draw a flag.

At least they showed it and talked about it. I’m still wondering about the holding call on Dawson Knox from the game before, where the guy just fell down and there was little to no replay, review or discussion. I guess that by comparison, this was good. Refs are like OL, they hope nobody is talking about them after a game, because it’s rarely good. .

Damn Beane, always drafting losers like this! He’s a classic case of a guy who needs some time, but his upside is actually more than I expected. I was hoping he could improve to “decent”, but he’s done much more than that. It seems things have slowed down for him and he’s become a playmaker.

It’s a shame he didn’t get immunized to prevent this type of injury.

There is an exemption for balsa wood “jets” who use a rubber band to get the propeller turning.

I think the only way to properly resolve this is to wait 300 years, then ask Keith Richards what he thinks.

Will the Bills Win another game on the Road this season?

You are running low on angst. You need to be more miserable. It’s all the rage! -
I didn’t know about that connection. I saw him in concert when I was in high school. I’m sure he remembers me.

11/16/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Buccaneers Post Game Thread

Why were we wearing Bills pajama material on our shoulders??? That was very ferocious. -
I’ve heard of him.

My wife was friends with a lady who is married to a very well known rock musician. We’d have dinner at their place, and he’d have multiple R&R HOF people there joining us a different times. He’s a British guy who made his money doing the loud rock stuff I was never into. What does he listen to at home? Usually The Beatles.

Yes, the under is a good bet here.

The Ryman was the home of the original Grand Ole Opry downtown going back to the 40’s. They moved from downtown in 1974 to northeast of town and it is now located by the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Both venues are still very cool, and they needed more room for all there is going on. We’ve stayed at that hotel, and it’s super cool, and enormous! The resort has a crazy water park only available to hotel guests. The resort interior has canals with gondola rides and New Orleans style sections of rooms looking out onto lush atrium gardens. I recommend it for lunch if just to see it for people who have the time. And that concludes our little history lesson. .

All kidding aside, it’s something that is dearly needed around here. People get very worked up about things that they have no control over. That is a recipe for unhappiness. The Serenity Prayer is easy to say, but much harder to live. We’ve had a lot of practice, and it can still be a challenge at times. I can become ashamed of myself when I get too worked up. It’s not good for me or for anyone around me. So I try harder. .

He always starts on his best behavior with full effort. This should be no surprise to anyone, but how long will it last? Let’s not forget he turns 32 in a couple weeks. This will most likely be his last little hurrah before his decline. I hope he melts down again before retiring so he can be remembered for what he was: extremely talented but usually a PITA to have around. .

The Listening Room is a small venue downtown that is acoustic music from singer/songwriters. It’s awesome, if you like that kind of stuff. The honkey tonk stuff on Broadway would wear me out in a hurry, but this is a nice change of pace if you ever find yourself in Nashville.

It’s funny you mention the Spin Doctors. They opened for the Blues Travelers at the Ryman Auditorium a few weeks ago I mentioned seeing just above. They were never “my thing” but we loved seeing the Ryman, a great old venue that was a nice size for me.

I think this is good advice for everyone. It will lead to a more pleasant and satisfying life. Why make yourself crazy over stuff you cannot control? AI Overview The Serenity Prayer is a popular prayer asking for the serenity to accept things one cannot change, the courage to change the things one can, and the wisdom to know the difference. It is widely associated with Reinhold Niebuhr, a Lutheran theologian, and has been adopted by groups like Alcoholics Anonymous as a core part of their program. The main message is to focus on what is within one's control while accepting what is not, promoting inner peace and strength

That is why I half kid. -
But we get……ESPN. OK, I’ll quit for a while.
-
Do I have to pay $20 EXTRA to get rid of ESPN?

We were in Nashville a few weeks ago and friends came to join us. They arrived a night late and we all went to Ryman Auditorium. The original home of the Grand ‘OL Opry downtown. It was a great show, but the night before they missed The Listening Room where the songwriters do their own stuff together. They tell the stories behind each song, and they all join in with the others when appropriate. I will highly recommend it as long as nobody else tries to go there.
