What is the record for most red zone attempts without an int?
Augie replied to Batman1876's topic in The Stadium Wall
Happens all the time. Much like Josh had a curious pick today. I admit I “heard” that more than saw it, but it sounded like his interception was questionable at best. I missed the replay. Was that a solid call? -
Epenesa had a completely different body type too, in his first year. So did Bruce Smith. Where you start is not where you finish. I’ve heard we have the highest pressure rate in the NFL, and if true, I don’t see the reason to be questioning the Basham pick. He may, or may not, pan out but it’s too early to be questioning the pick in my opinion. They have a plan, and I will trust their plan until they give me reason to doubt them. Time will tell. .

If the brass knuckles are caught, and they are not used on YOU, that’s a relatively good thing. I think.

I think if you are finely tuned, you will likely see this as some thinly veiled Beane bashing. We have a position with serious depth, but one that needs to get younger and cheaper, so that is a bad thing when a new guy isn’t necessarily an instant star. Yes, somewhat confusing. Having a lot of talent and not being desperate to stick new guys in before they are ready is now a bad thing. I know, it takes some getting used to, but that’s what you get for expecting serious analysis. We mostly get……..this. 🤷♀️ .

Joe Cocker said she could leave her hat on. Just sayin’…….

OK, so are you Jimmy, or Roger…..or BOTH?

When it’s 57 yards, and I’m thinking “yeah, we got this”, you know you have something special! I can’t tell you how glad I am that he got over his obsession with the left upright. Having said all that, kicking is much like golf, which is largely played between the ears. Let’s NOT jinx anything! .

Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake

Don’t be afraid! Do you have any tequila in the house? We want to know what you really think! I mean, we might miss you for a while, but it might be some fine entertainment! . -
I hate to say it … but the Pats are coming
Augie replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I though that at the time, and said so at the stadium. Despite it ending badly, I have changed my tune. I think I heard Josh was 13 for 14 on 1 yard QB sneaks, and this was only a few inches. The one he missed was a botched snap. I couldn’t tell live, but he cleary slipped in Nashville. $%&# happens. I’m good with the decision despite the outcome. Regardless, they are absolutely one of the top teams in the league and we clearly showed we were on par with them playing in their (shared for the night) house. The Titans are super hot, even without Henry. I hope we peak at the right time, in the playoffs! . -
Wilson should be happy he got to sit that one out. White took a beating, and I’m almost surprised Flacco didn’t retire in the 4th quarter when they stuck him in there. The pay check is great, but I don’t think he’s looking to take a beating this year. “I’m good with the clipboard, but thanks anyway!”

Competition is nice, but the Patriots thrived for a couple decades on wins vs the AFCE and the bye weeks and home playoff games they provided. A lot to be said for that too.

Until midnight strikes tonight, I am an unofficial Lions fan. I feel a little sad just for having that thought, but I will suffer thru it……

Epenesa went overboard. That’s gonna get called when the play was already made and you get near his head. -

Give him credit! The guy has made a boatload of money, but he’s not too proud to hang around and make a little more as a third string scrub! I bet he never thought he might risk getting hit again! -

I bet deep down Flacco is very upset by this development! -

Let us hope we get to see how they handle two decades of this! -

This is the kind of game where the Jets want to run the ball and stay in bounds to keep the clock running. Nobody want to give up a 50 Burger! -

Jets don’t even cheat very well! Need to take some notes from the Patriots. . -

Deep, deep down Mike White is probably just happy to be off the field! I’m sure his mother agrees! -

I bet Mike White was telling Zach Wilson he was looking healthy enough to handle the second half. Maybe a little Mr Miyagi action. “Why don’t you take over here, Zack?” -

I have lost faith in their ability to get that type of call right. We were fortunate there for sure based upon the way they have been calling games lately. -
Her mother and grandmother made it to 92. My dad made it to 89. People are living longer. It doesn’t matter that much to me as I’m not counting on SSI to be around as a primary source of income. I’m 62 and don’t need an extra income stream at this point as the wife is still working. I’ll wait, but that’s just me. People need to do what is best for their personal situation, and I won’t argue against that.

My mother is subsisting now and regretting taking her SSI early. She didn’t REALLY need it then, but it seemed wise to take it in her mind. She turns 94 in a couple weeks and regrets many of her decisions, especially this one. People live longer these days, so if you can, wait until you really need it. For us, I never counted on it still being around, to be honest. It will be nice to have if and when it happens.
