  1. Getting him the first punt in our last game was more of the same, I believe. Trying to do the right thing by him. Players notice that stuff.
  2. I’m just thrilled that we are on this end of the deal for a change. We used to look for starters and depth guys on other teams scrap heaps. We are now the team that others look to when they need pieces before the season starts. I’’m good with Blackshear making it to our practice squad. He clearly has something to offer, and it seems to be instincts and effort more than amazing physical talent.
  3. I think a PPV cage match might bring in a few dollars from some of the regulars here and might make this a viable venture!
  4. Apparently the tobacco tide is going out, while another tide comes in!
  5. Yeah, it’s all fun and games until somebody can’t get the snap down with the laces out to win the Super Bowl!!! I’m thinking the holder might need a back up……
  6. He also adds an element they were targeting even back in FA with the guy from Washington. We needed a natural pass catcher, and more speed in the backfield. I want to see Cook take those seams where Singletary gets 10-15 yards…..and turn it into 7 points. Sorry defense, you’re back on the field. First world problems! .
  7. ‘Tis the season! Worry not, this too shall pass. The bright side? It means we are about to see Bills football again! EDIT: It’s funny, but looking at it like that leaves me wondering who is NOT on the list. .
  8. Just focus on that last part and you should be fine! It’s this kind of stuff that makes me just pay for the Sunday Ticket rather than call and grovel for discounts or add-ons. It’s a natural barrier of frustration.
  9. I’m pretty sure I know who wins this!
  10. They made up for it with cheap hookers and blow??? It’s funny to see cigarettes on the list. It wasn’t THAT long ago (1990) that you could smoke on a plane. The tide has turned there! I don’t think I even know anyone who smokes now.
  11. A backup long snapper on a team friendly contract would round out the picture. I say GO FOR IT!
  12. BUT…..the real question remains: will you be done forever? I always love it when people are done forever. It’s also amusing when people fall for silliness, but that is another topic.
  13. You and @Gugny have wandered into that gray area between cozy and kinky. …..but who am I to judge? 🤷‍♂️
  14. We can share what we got of yours ‘cause we’ve done shared all of mine………..🎶
  15. I think you spelled sarcastrometerer wrong.
  16. Some of the larger properties have barb wire fencing, but they are usually housing hundreds of “residents”. You do NOT want to be on the wrong side of THAT fence. OK, I just watched the end of The Shawshank Redemption. This may be related late on a Friday night.
  17. Quick and easy. I can’t imagine a greater tragedy, or a better cause.
  18. Maybe his Friday night was the reason he woke up and didn’t know what day it was? 🤷‍♂️ I just came from a restaurant that has an “Awesome Fish Sandwich” on the menu….and it really is AWESOME!
  19. Some time well before 3 years I would have “expectations” that exceeded anything he experienced.
  20. I will plead the 5th, and be happy not knowing the answer.
  21. Some is better than other, but no. No I have not.
  22. You realize, of course, that if scrambled eggs at happy hour catches on, this might have to be merged with the cost of chicken wing thread. Eggs>Chicken>Wings.
  23. I agree Gabe could do that, but I can’t forget OBJ just might have been the Super Bowl MVP had he not been injured. Adding extra weapons for a shot at a Lombardi Trophy works for me. And he can win the SB MVP for all I care! EDIT: It’s almost like the NBA now, lets stack a team to buy a trophy, much like Von and OBJ last year. I have to say, I really hate that………unless it’s OUR TROPHY!!! .
  24. I honestly have close to zero possibility that Davis won’t perform. My main concern is injury, which we all know happens every year to some degree. But I agree with you on the wait and see approach. No telling what the picture might look like in a few months.
  25. When I lived in Hilton Head my boss was in Charleston. I knew the area pretty well back then. I also spent the summer there in a management training program the first year I was married, then just go home on the weekends. (That was odd after being married for only a few months, but worth the investment.) I’d consider it, but I’d still need a place to get away from summer heat. It gets much hotter than the west coast of Florida, which would be great for 6 months and a day to avoid state income tax. They would fly up (driving was 7-8 hours) and stay at the (then) Ritz across the street. I thought it was odd, but knew other people who used to come up for long weekends. Great shopping, good food and entertainment. Now? Not so much. I think a lot of big cities have suffered the same way. This is indeed sad.
