Based on the shift in the type of player we’ve seen, I don’t think Ford will have to worry about fitting in this system. He’ll need to worry about finding a system that DOES fit him. Browns fans deserve a process to fire an owner. We had decades of ineptitude, but nothing approaching this. If this was the Bills, I’d have to take a break. Even I have limits. Even so, is that the guy you want to be the face of your franchise? That alone is not worth the grief. Wow…… .

You can’t overcome a lousy owner easily. It boggles my mind that they gave this dirt bag a fully guaranteed contract! Who would do that? You have to be situationally aware, and show just a glimmer of common sense.

That was approximately a season’s worth of punts we just watched! Remember when that was just one game?

Let me just add, take out wings suck for pretty much everybody! There were a few places that had OK takeout when I was a kid, but now they are just soggy by the time you get home.

I’m sure Josh would come over if he saw Bills gear. The tattoo would certainly do it, but it’s unlikely to be seen on your calf. That is why I always recommend the forehead tattoo for Bills fans. You are more likely to get noticed.

Game changer as of a few years ago. My wife now hesitates to go out to “fine steak houses” because she thinks what “we” do at home is better. I have to agree. We did a few quick steaks the old way last week when the son dropped in. Seared then popped in oven to finish due to lack of time. They were good, but not perfect. Sous vide steaks gets you perfect every time. It is your job to educate them! Feed them once and they will want to know where to get an immersion circulator!

But IF she were to get thru Swiatek (YUGE IF), they are the only 2 of the top 15 seeded women left. I’ve been paying less attention than usual up to this point, and that surprised me. One match at a time, but that could be a huge opportunity.

Novel concept! Pun intended. I read almost every day at lunch. I go to the book table at Costco and look for stuff I like, then give them to my mom’s retirement place for their library. My shelves have plenty, let others enjoy them. ESPN is hot garbage. Their shows all have the same formula. A bunch of guys all yelling at the same time. No thanks! Hiring The Booger McFarland to staunchly defend the crack back block call on Cody Ford (which later received an apology letter from the NFL) is indefensible. He’s an insufferable clown, and I’ll avoid the network just on him alone. Mike & Mike was the last decent thing they had. I haven’t looked in a while, but if you want a real laugh check out their college basketball recruiting. It’s a dumpster fire of indifference and incompetence. They should shut that down completely, because it’s embarrassingly weak and out of date. Less (as in ZERO) would be more, there. .

For how many? Is that an order of 10 wings? Places around here often start with an order of 5 or 6 wings. I’ve seen some places with temporary signs announcing current wing prices because they didn’t want to replace all their menus. The market was changing that fast. My son used to order his wings naked with the sauce on the side. He knew it embarrassed me, but he said the wings were crispier that way. I have to admit there was some truth to that, but I couldn’t let him know that.

You are looking merely at stats. I am considering talent, trajectory and chemistry. Knox is on the rise, and the ceiling is pretty high. Hopefully the stats keep him affordable, because a good TE is an important ingredient in our offense going forward.

I respectfully disagree. It took years to develop him into one on the best TE’s in the league. TE’s are an important part of a quality NFL offense these days. I’d pay him what the market expects for the talent that he is and keep weapons for Josh at every skill position. Surround Josh with talent and let him do his thing. I know the cap is an issue………..but there are ways. Full disclosure, I was higher on Knox than most early, even with his dropsies. Now that he looks like a top TE, I’d just hate to see him wind up somewhere else. There is a way to do something reasonable. Even before the breakout year, there were flashes that showed what he could be. The drops held him back in our eyes, but the flashes were impressive! If we can extend him before the season to spread out the cost, I’m good. I trust Knox, and I trust Beane. . .

Good point. I remember Ahmad Rashad winning the Monday Night home game. That was more exhilarating than being at the Bills losing to the (then) Redskins in single digit temps outside. Funny how the mind works…..
