  1. We had a friend who sued her employer, one of the biggest banks in the country. They have very deep pockets, and all the time in the world. It did not end well for her. It didn’t matter if she might have been right, it was career suicide. Playing the race card sounds iffy because the Bills connection makes it easy to see coming. Not sure I would have gone there unless there is more I don’t know (which I’m sure IS the case, but still).
  2. This could get spicy! I thought he got a raw deal in Miami. It also sounds like he’s got a fairly solid case if he can prove the allegations. An owner paying a coach to lose sounds like they need a new owner down there. Hard to escape that unscathed! A different twist on the Donald Sterling situation. My favorite part is Belichick getting the wrong Brian to text! How priceless is THAT? You slipping old man? Bet you wish you could have a do-over because you added to one giant stink!
  3. I’m deciding between Bengals and Chiefs for my road game next season. Cincinnati was my college town, so it has appeal. KC is a bucket list road game, like Lambeau. Time to ponder, will wait for the dates.
  4. I was a cereal guy when I was younger, and you nailed my top choices. Frosted Flakes, Fruity Pebbles and Lucky Charms topped my list. Cap’n Crunch was great, if you were willing to sacrifice the roof of your mouth. As an “adult” (still questionable, even at my age) Raisin Bran became the go-to. That’s five, and that was a while ago. I’m a skim milk and breakfast bar guy now. Prior to that it was skim milk and a banana, then yogurt. I am an evolving breakfast connoisseur.
  5. It may be an unexpected cure for constipation. Just a guess. 🤷‍♂️
  6. I think he’s interviewing for HC in Jax, so maybe we wait to see how things fall into place. He did make Wentz look like more than he appears to be in reality. If he doesn’t get a HC gig, we could be a great next step to getting one in the short term. I trust our guys to be smarter than me or TBD in general. Far from infallible, but I like our odds. Our parts (led by Josh) make us a highly desirable destination for OC candidates with aspirations of moving up to HC. .
  7. But, Mahomes had a bad half, so Josh is going to regress next year. I think you are missing the….. Oh…….maybe not. There are ups and downs every year, but Josh keeps getting better. I think more depends on the new OC and staff, plus players, than how Mahomes played.
  8. We are going to evaluate all the candidates, then take the worst one. Why is that confusing? 😋 Postage due?
  9. Until late in the season I would have guessed that we would have to send a draft pick with him. Later in the year they looked much better and I’m not really sure why.
  10. Some teams will never be good unless they can get the owners locked in a closet. That’s why the Bengals in the Super Bowl shocks me so much.
  11. So…….”Those who can, do. Those who cannot, teach/coach”. That’s what I take out of that, and I’m sure there is some truth to it.
  12. Funny thing is, when I hear a team is interviewing this guy or that guy, I almost never know if he’s white, black, Hispanic or whatever. And I don’t care.
  13. We are heading toward the ghost peppers, I’m afraid!
  14. It shouldn’t have to be necessary, but sadly it still appears to be. It hurts nothing, so why not? Nothing is lost, and you never know what might be gained, even just if it’s interview experience. That’s just MY opinion.
  15. I suspect the theory is………none of us will be around to point out how wrong he was.
  16. I’d rather watch his commercials than him as our QB.
  17. That is encouraging going forward.
  18. That will get better with practice, I’m (almost) sure.
  19. Waking up tomorrow? Honestly, my mom is 94 and I just need to outlast her. She was sure she would die at 92 because her mother and grandmother died at 92. Everybody dies (sorry for the spoiler with no alert). If I make it thru tomorrow it’s all good!
  20. What is the most important position? That counts more than once. We also have Tre and Diggs. Nobody is elite across the board, but we have the key positions. We are elite at enough positions to be a serious contender for years to come.
  21. The REAL point being, Gabe Davis had FOUR TD’s in a playoff game. The first WR ever to do that. I have no complaints. We took advantage of what was available and Gabe had an incredible performance. More credit to Josh for recognizing it! THAT is not the reason we lost, and I refuse to dwell on the negative. Learn from it, and move forward. Whining is not appealing. Improving is ultra appealing! .
  22. Too morbid to pin, IMO, and if I started it I’d be afraid I’d top the list. 😱
  23. A great character on an underrated show. Kind of like NewsRadio and Phil Hartman in my mind. That was a life lost much too soon. RIP Howard.
  24. To be fair, I’m guessing it was an overly emotional reaction in the moment. It happens. I’d like to think that moment has passed and there is a realization that we were probably a top three team in the league, and we lost in OT to another top three team in a CRAZY way. $%#^ happens. Life moves on. Keep your top three thing going on, and one day you find yourself on top.
  25. So…..it’s not about the skill guys, but it’s about “team speed”? You listed a bunch of skill guys, but now it’s “team”? Like we need faster OG’s or NT’s? (Not meant to come off as nasty.) Look, I’d like more breakaway speed and easy scores. That helps guys like Diggs, Davis, Knox and Singletary underneath. That is your bread and butter. A blazing threat at RB or WR would be nice, but we have been pretty loaded. Not every team can have world class speed at WR or RB. Al Davis loved that, but I prefer Jerry Rice, a real football player, over some fast guy. Are we the slowest team in the league is not the same as are we as fast as the fastest team in the league. The comparison provided seems to lean toward a certain agenda. .
